Well the straight answer is not necessarily. If it’s broken then it’s all you can really do. Otherwise I see people support top heavy grafts using chopsticks or other improvised devices. You could likely do the same without worry. If it’s not growing anymore then you could degraft but if it’s still pumping out growth you could try supporting it and see how far it goes!
