  1. This laundry bag idea is going to solve a huge frustration point for me. I'm making that change today! Thank you for sharing it. I appreciate you!

  2. I do agree with you, we dont need all of this things… I like simple and happy life too. Greetings from Poland, thanks for sharing your life ;);)

  3. What a clay pot?, okage Sama
    gonna buy one today!
    boxes to store books, great!
Magnesium bags/ for delicate chothes, great!
    Okage Sama

  4. You can wash clothes buy hands … Why using power and space… Use your body power… Great exercise 💪… You are prioritising your minimalist nature

  5. I agree with many of those items but no forks or couch? No guests or familiy coming in to your house? What a lonely life!

  6. Smooth, organized, simple and straight to the point. Lovely video! I'm kinda in between maximalist and minimalist and would like to tidy up my life a bit so I can have less stuff I don't need and more time for myself. I guess my main goal is to only keep what I need in my life which tends to make me a bit happier. Thank you for the ideas in the video, would like to try them out one day 🙂

  7. i understand the reason for not having a bookshelf, but isn't having a book shelf to store the boxes on the floor more convienant and space saving when cleaning the floors? and i remember you saying that it gets cold where you are too so wouldn't not having a rug make the floors freezing? 😅 the rest make sense but maybe you should invest in a spork for soups that could also be used as forks and chopsticks. it might be even more convienant too.

  8. I've used essential oils for years but recently tossed them. I use baking soda to soften my clothes and I don't need them to smell like flowers or mountains. Suggested reading: Essentially Deadly: The Unspoken Dangers Of Essential Oils by April Graham

  9. The citric acid washing for cloths. How much to use for three pairs of cloths. Such as Shirt, button shirt, pants, thong ,pair socks.

  10. This is more about how to be more anal rather than a better minimalist🤣 I'm joking. I like your videos.

  11. Question!
I’m trying to minimize stuff I have cuz adhd is problematic with lots of stuff.
So I have a problem now.
I need a good voice for teaching kids, and now my mic picks up empty space echo.
    😅
How do you make it that it’s good for recording?

  12. Hello! Great video, thank you for it. It seems that you live like a monk. It is possible to be that minimalistic when you are single, but once you have a woman and kids it could be really challenging to continue that sort of lifestyle. It is really rare for a man to be able to afford being minimalistic.

  13. Gave away most of the things on your list, too. And more. Not for any -ism. Intuitively, for:
    SPACE for ME, not things.
Beauty: is it beautiful and useful?
Hygiene: stuff steals space. Cleaning took HOURS. Now, minutes.
Wholesomeness, aka health. The MAIN reason. Glowing, exciting vitality.

Examples: sofa. Instead, now have an epic dancefloor with double mirrors. The ANTITHESIS of a sedentary lifestyle.
Cleared away further stuff so can SPRINT across the space any time. Or skip, bounce. Hip hop, kung fu, yoga, isometrics, DYNAMIC stretches… What a life.
Also: my body told me. Sofas – and beds – are a lie. There's no support, even the "hard" ones. It gives you endless glute / psoas / sciatica / back pain. Foam cannot support you. It doesn't push back like the ground.

Here's a little of my list:

    1. Floor sleeping. No more bed. BEST feeling every morning. ALL those chronic injuries gone, from day one. Again, body told me. We began with taking sofa cushions off, to try sitting on springs. Much better. Then floor sitting. Then floor sleeping!

    2. "Bedouin cushion lounge", no sofa. This began using what i had. A thick blanket as a rug (over ice cold tiles), lots of cushions, throws. Now it's a place to work from most days. Thinking strategy is the powerhouse to choose actions.
THIS IS UTTER LUXURY NOT MINIMALISM 😉

    2. Bedroll ("cowboy") on folding camping mattress, no complex bedding, no bed. Bed linen: 2 outer sheets, 2 inner sheets, 1 wool blanket. That's IT.
No pillows, fitted sheets, flat sheets, etc. OH THE TIME!!!!! ++++

    3. Wok water-only cooking, no microwave. One terrifying day realised it was probably radiation poisoning. Also hot air coming out of it not great. Visible health effects turned around the same day. Tried the pot bain marie method, bamboo steamers etc. Finally realised you can steam in the wok!
Now cook pure beans, Rice, lentils, veg, wraps, SOUP, in the wok. SO MUCH TIME not washing hundreds of pots and lids…

    4. Glass jars, everything, no dirty plastic. You can feel the difference. Again this was spontaneous.

    5. Cotton, linen cleaning cloths, clothing, everything. Next to no more fake synthetics. The bobbles the plastic microfibre cloths used to put all over bath towels…
Also, plastics (polyester, nylon, acrylic etc etc) MELT INTO SKIN in a fire. That includes feet. So feeling more prepared now, at least knowing which are blends. Can grab the 100% naturals first to save one's sacred self before stuff.

    6. Water cooking, no toxic oil. Processed oil is toxic and fake. For olive oil, eat olives. Instead of peanut butter, have red peanuts in 8 Treasures for breakfast. Use your imagination

    6. Lemon juice, lemon halves, Apple cider vinegar cleaning recipes. This only became possible after getting rid of oil. My pans are CLEAN. Stove is clean. Body is clean. It takes months to get the oil out of our cells, you can see it. Clean kitchen so much easier.

    7. Walk-in closet / luxury dressing room, no bedroom. One amazing day, realised i can have this because donated the sleigh bed. The space!
Every where i live that will come with a "bedroom" and BICs, i shall have a SPACIOUS DRESSING ROOM INSTEAD.

    Yup, dreams come true.

Also unscrewed the wardrobe doors on a hunch. It's so beautiful now. Time gains. Clarity. Beauty. Appreciation.

Less is more FEELS LIKE ABUNDANCE.

All the clothes given away, yet there are more than plenty. And it was not a lot by some standards.

Instead, the clothes that remain are a designer wardrobe. Lovely, elegant, Quality. Wool coats that last FOR LIFE. Linen that can be washed a million times.

"Pay twice as much, half as often".

Intuituion said: "Wear your best every day. Because better is coming".

So yeah, sleep on the floor. Look glowing and delicious. Feel amazing. Gain space, time, beauty, delight.

Then have the BEST of everything if we wish. Hand picked. You first, not things. Then things can be amazing.

    THE VERY HEIGHT OF LUXURY
    Begins wherever you are.

    Thanks for the great inspo.
Excited to try: tatami mats + even simpler cleaning + fewer rugs. Clay pot! This fits the dream of patio living and outdoor kitchen.

    Keep up the great ideas

    RIGHTNESS BREEDS RIGHTNESS
    try it and see 🎉🎉

    If you aren't already 😇😎
My two cents / two trillion cents 😉
