Gathered some baby Monstera and Palm leaves this morning and painted. I’d be 100% happy with this piece but I forgot to prep my paper first and ended up with sizing (the faint white spots) in a few places. Before using your watercolor paper make sure to spray it down with water and wipe with a sponge. That really helps the watercolor soak in. I think I was just too excited to get started. Anyways, thought I’d share that! Watercolor is truly a beautiful medium.
