The second veil can be used for your re-newal of vows on a future wedding anniversary!
What a lovely wedding box. I plan on taking pictures of all of the items that we won't keep and pressing my bouquet into our wedding album and putting the stationery in the same album along with our pictures.
You're so brave with the icebath. Chilly!!!! Not sure if you know but be careful with your van cleef mother of pearl pieces around water. You made me nervous wearing them in the ice bath. It is a very soft gem material and water can damage them. I know this has happened to a few people. Solid gold pieces are fine in water, just not the gem. VCA recommends to take off in shower etc.

Josie, you have to use acid free tissue paper to store your beautiful veil in, otherwise it will yellow over time 👰🏼♀️ xx
We call them snow peas. Good in stir frys and Asian dishes.
I ate my first blackcurrants today and 2 raspberries – oh well better than none. Rain here so a jungle will emerge. What would we do without gardens?? Bought another lavender today but seeded flower plants coming up. Rain beat down a white foxglove and knocked off the rose petals but will flower again. Hydrangeas are doing marvelously and lillies about to come out. I am surprised you don't have hollyhocks as they are so country gardenish.
