It’s #TBT story time! One year ago, I was invited to Paris to be “The Plant Doctor” at the @botanicals_freshcare launch event. 📷 2) Apparently, I was famous enough to be mentioned in a tweet as a VIP entering Paris (and mentioned right after supermodel Doutzen Kroes – but I guess it’s because we attended the same event). 📷 3) This was the only (creeper) photo I managed to snap since I was busy being “The Plant Doctor” – at my station, 📷 4) where guests would learn how to transfer a potted plant into a flower bed. I was hopeful that maybe Doutzen would come to my station and then I would be able to take a selfie with her. While she was making flower crowns with @harrietparryflowers – 📷 5) an example worn by my fiancée, Doutzen’s chaperone (for lack of a better word) came over to my station:

Chaperone: so what would Doutzen do at this station?

Me: well, we will unpot one of these geraniums and plant them into the flower bed.

Chaperone: Oh, will she have to actually touch the dirt?
.
Me: Uh..yes, that’s the point of this activity.

Chaperone: I see. We’ll come back later then.

They never did. Oh well, me and my fiancée still had an amazing time and it was fun to work alongside these botanically inspired creators (📷 6).
