Hello everyone,
I have a small home greenhouse (8’x8′) that I’m growing various produce in. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for pollinators inside of my greenhouse?
I’m growing tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, peas, hot peppers, etc.
I have caught a few cabbage butterflies but I feel badly because one got caught in a fan. Fortunately it can still fly, but I don’t think I want to keep butterflies for this reason.
Are there any flies that I could look out for and collect to keep in my greenhouse? I have trays of water with rocks in them, and some annual flowers for nectar.
I live in Ontario, Canada.
Thanks!

Ladybugs could work.
I leave a small artists paint brush tied onto the wall inside my greenhouse (so I don’t lose it)
Every time I check on my plants, I brush it between some of the flowering plants – works perfectly.
Can you open it up during the day? I’m not sure what your temps are like, but if you can leave it open the pollinators should come in on their own.
