Morw than you can eat? Ive only had 8 pods this season 😢
Today's the day I plant the pickling onions, I waited til today as I've never planted anything on my birthday before, believing it was too far into the season. Apparently not…. 😂😂😂
Wow those variations of lettuce looks gooooood I will bring the tuna and the rest is on you. I am struggling to even get my lettuce seeds to germinate. But I bet that lettuce and onions taste delicious. Well done to you
Yummy! I'm not sure which looks best, the salad or the strawberries.
Amazing exciting fabulous and lots more ❤
you can go out in your allotment and take a pea 🙂
It's Martin with a y. Worcestershire through and through.
That's a fantastic harvest Ivan 🙂 We love our container garden this yr, motivated by yr video's, thank you. We got 2lb of lovely new potatoes yesterday from our top 2 layers of the potato tower as got blight .Bottom 2 layers seems ok so far, but will empty them soon. l picked 8oz sugar snaps today, blanched & now in freezer, & large bagful of mixed salads leaves for visiting daughter to take home. l never get fed up of salad/lettuce leaves, lv got 26 recipes written down so far to use them in. Tomorrow will harvest & freeze loads of swiss chard for freezer to make swiss chard quiches for over the summer. We are harvesting something everyday , so to help me stay extra motivated, i'm writing down in back of my gardening journal how much each organic harvest would have cost me from supermarket. Since Monday total is £7.60, then the swiss chard to add on tomorrow. Plus more new potatoes & peas+loads of herbs now to dry for store cupboard . Healthy organic food everyday for the 2 of us, for just a few hr's a week working in the garden.
Ivan, good tip "not to wash, get the air out" until ready to use, thank you.
I was digging in some kitchen scraps and out came a few garlic and shallot bulbs. A nice surprise and will put back the smaller ones for the future. The kitchen scraps have cherry and loquat seeds and I'm hoping to see cherry seedlings next year. I already gave away loquat seedlings in the spring.
Lovely salad harvest, I love salad leaves, you can't beat it, I've got some white onions growing, looking forward to harvesting later in the year, fingers crossed lol ..
Thanks Ivan, that's a grand salad harvest. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thanks Ivan, great update hope you enjoy your harvest.
So satisfying to watch you harvest that lot, this is what it's all about!
Ivan i put one onion in a pot when you did yours and it looks the same size as yours 🙂
I'm thrilled to see my little granddaughter eating peas straight from the lids like I did when I was her age
I'd love to see the floor of your greenhouse with all the discarded leaves etc 😂
Hi Ivan I have been reading a book by an American author and it has mentioned that you can get “ rooting hormone from new willow twigs “ have you ever heard about this
