It’s finally time to fill the planter groupings I’ve been working on for the past two Vlogs here in the Island Garden. Annuals are a great way to get some color in quickly as I wait for the perennials to fill in and personally I much prefer annuals in containers vs planting in ground. I find them easier to style that way and of course remove at the end of the season. I’m hoping most of these plants make it well into the Fall.

My front entry planters in Fall 2020-a personal favorite:

Spend some time with me in my Philadelphia zone 7 garden while I quickly realize this is going to be a two day project.

If you’re new here, I’m a Philadelphia based floral and event designer whose entire garden is for cutting and flower arranging. I don’t make straight rows of anything and I’ll cut with abandon to create floral designs from the first flowers of Spring till the frost kills the mums in the Fall. I focus on color and planting things together so they bloom all season in waves of designs-like I’ve arranged each and every stem.

I get my music & sound fx from Soundstripe, as a newer YouTuber I wanted a custom feel to my soundtracks without the crazy cost of some of the big licensing companies that charge by song, with Soundstripe-it’s one monthly or annual fee and unlimited access to their library which I find full of cool, contemporary and interesting options. As an affiliate, I’m happy to recommend them to you all! Click the link below to see the available plans:
