  1. Very nice presentation. Love the images of the mature specimens discussed as well as the 1 gallons. Would love to see more like this especially combos of maples and conifers. Thanks for putting this together!

  2. Would love to hear your design recommendations for 100 Japanese maples lined up against a fence

  3. This video is so helpful, alot of great information. Please bring more combination of plants video.Thank you guys for the hard work 👍

  4. I love this! I truly enjoyed this. So interesting you mention music because that idea popped into my head one day while looking at my garden. My garden has a visual rhythm to it. I have layer down some tracks for bands before in another life and the layering the tracks analogy made it so clear to me. That is exactly what layering in a garden is like. Color harmonics is a thing for sure. Thanks guys.

  5. What about transplanting an existing Japanese Maple? My neighbors have a beautiful bloodgood they want to take down, but I'd love to move it to my garden if it has a chance to survive the shock

  6. Nice video! I wish I had ever had a plan. I like this, I like that, ooh that's pretty, etc. – Now how do I fit it in? LOL

  7. Thank you both for this content. You are right, application can be tricky. I see so many trees I want, but I need to make sure to plant in the right place, considering sun exposure, size, growth rate, and seasonal colors. Please tell us more about placement/sun needs when you do features on cultivars so we can decide if it is the right plant for the space we have in mind. Knowing that up front helps me choose the right plant. The last thing I want is to have to transplant something, or have a plant suffering in less than ideal conditions. It is easy to get intimidated when creating a landscape. Thank you for the practical content!!!! I know I can count on getting accurate information from all y'all at Mr Maple. So glad to have this resource, I am on your website and channel almost everyday. Too bad I don't live closer, I would have many more of your trees. Currently, 12 and counting!
