Thanks for sharing:)
Hi, I have trouble in my compost bins, with ants. When I go to take some out for a pot, gazillion ants come charging out and get all over me! Do you have trouble with ants?
That is so great. Love seeing how you fill the containers. And definitely plant Tommy the tomato. You have been so much help. Last year I got discouraged and thought what's the use. But I kept listening and trying some of your techniques and this year things are going better. Thank you so much. You and Gary are truly a blessing.
I just bought a pair of Auger drill attachment post hole digger. Mainly, I'll be using it in compost, but it will be great to loosen the soil. Saves the hard work of digging if soil is rock hard.
You mentioned emptying the beds, why would you empty them, I refresh mine once in a while but never empty them
I remember seeing a plant being pulled underground by a gopher right before my very eyes! 🤪😖
Looking forward to seeing it completed and what plant's Ur going to set on top, love the extra clip of Gary, very funny , keep well
Love watching and learning as you journey in your gardens 😊 I think that gopher has heard you say "eat what you grow" and taken it to heart ❤
Why is your water hose running under the trough? I missed that idea. Thanks. Love your videos.
Awesome tips~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
Tommy the Tomato we’re all cheering for you.🎉🎉🎉🍅 Tfs. Have a great day.🤗
Which I could buy and had the stuff to fill on of these trough up. But unfortunately, I don't have that much yard waste or food waste anymore. 😢 I'm sadly wish I did. Thank for video.
Channel i watch regularly uses hardware cloth at bottom of raised beds. Works great to keep burrowing critters out.
Wait, the tomato was in a container; how did the mole get to it? Did it get through a drain hole or was the root sticking through the hole? Do I need to elevate all my containers to avoid this bc I have lots of moles?
Hi Robbie and Gary, had some luck with my container garden, but the weather is terrible right now. I'm the one in the southwest desert of Az.. We will be having 113 on Monday. So I am looking to grow some food inside the house. Other than romaine and leaf lettuce, what would you reccomend for inside garden? I bought a grow light and attached it to a metal bakers rack in my office/spare bedroom and I also have a metal rack. I have an array of pots and
I would appreciate any and all ideas you might have!
There is no more place left in that container to plant ! Why don’t you put them all around it so you would be able to plant at list 4-5 things ? This is not making sense to me 🤷🏼♀️
Moles don’t eat the vegetation, they eat worms and grubs in your soil. They have ruined our grass because they chew off the roots as they cruise through our lawn to search for worms. I could trap them but don’t have the heart. Guess I should be glad they love our soil. It is organic and full of worms. ❤
Does it smell?
We live in a rural area – LOTS of critters. If I bury ANY food related item in my containers, the next morning, it has been dug up – soil, plant and all . 😕 Any ideas to outsmart the critters ? I have LOTS of kitchen scraps that I would love to use .
