  1. Good morning Batavia! Your gardening is fabulous! I didn't know you were in Chicago! Chi-town stand up! 🤣🤣🤣
I have a neighbor here in Michigan that planted mint many years ago. Now it's very invasive. So maybe watch out each year if it spreads out too much. With the strawberry bed, some wood chips or hay might be a good insulation for the roots. Thanks for the shares and keep them coming! 💖💖💖

  2. Hi Batavia, It's all looking good apart from the front frost damage…I would think that the Kale won't do too good if you move it, because the roots have already settled and if you move them I don't think they'll get established in the colder temps…Judging by the name, Russian Kale should be hardy but I'm no expert…I'm afraid being an old dinosaur, and having an old computer, I can't get instagram…Mint is also very invasive, it spreads by root runners, you might want to keep a watch on that as it can be a struggle to contain it once it's established…What are you going to use to protect the roots on the strawberries?
Have a great weekend my friend
    All the best
    Steve
