Apart from a few cosmetic touches we’re finally at the finishing line with our shed revamp! What started as a squeak of an idea back in the winter has now given us a shed that is not only double the size, but a glorious place to sit, relax and even socialise! It’s been a lot of hard work but I hope you like the finished result as much as I do!
Come and see what we get up to at our organic, no dig garden in the centre of the UK.

  1. Jane. You and Mike did a famous job! You both are so hard working. I’m just trying to keep those blooming rabbits away from my garden!

  2. Its a beauty:-)I know it's hot now,but how cozy it will be.
Need some book shelves by your corner, for damp days.
You can sit and be all warm and dry and have your tea and just be grateful🙂
    Love those windows.
    Happy shed sitting,haha

  3. Hello Jane, oh my goodness the suspense was killing me waiting to see the grand reveal of the shed. It is fabulous and you can see that you’ve both worked really hard. Great idea to put hooks up, as many as you can as they are so handy for bits and bobs. I hope you both have a great week and a well earned rest. Nia🐝

  4. Fantastic Jane ,such an effort but what a result , a lovely cosy corner for reading 10/10 love it 🙂🙂🙂

  5. Wow – you could almost live in there. You just need a cot (and a blankie) for afternoon naps. The variety in the colours and shapes of the wood is it's own decoration. People pay big money for that look. Enjoy it.

  6. Looks fab Jane and Mike, check to see if you need a fire guard behind the stove as it is dry wood and super hot can cause issues. Tony O may know if it’s needed. Great place to,hang out and have a copper and a natter, Ali 🥵🌞

  7. Jane i howled laughing at that window hole 😂 i'll send the piece I promise haha! 😂 all looks amazing Jane! You and Mike should be proud x

  8. Hi Jane, love the shed! We’re having a potting shed extension to our summer house(old shed!) so I ‘d love to have a stove too, where did you get it and was it easy to fit, (luckily hubby is a fab d-I- y’er.) Happy new shed!

  9. Absolutely brilliant. Nicely quirky and cozy. A great escape from rotten weather. I can see a lovely place to escape through the colder months.

  10. Hiya Jane I love it especially the wee stove. Perhaps some battery operated candle against mirror or glass for in the evening. Blessings luv Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝

  11. Woooo Jane it's absolutely GORGEOUS! Now I have shed envy. Though I do still adore my little cosy shed. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the progression 😊🌱 xx

  12. I love the shed it's fab 👍
The small dark brown glass fronted cabinet – this could be a store cubard for all your none gardening cooking/food stuffs. It would keep things away from rats and mice.
    – opening top could be used for knives, forks, spoons, cutting knives, glass cutting board (as easier to keep clean) etc.
    – the top shelf cups, plates, tea/coffee, buscuit tin
    – the bottom shelf cleaning products a washing up bowl, tea towel, washing up liquid, pan scourer, paper towels, anti bacterial spray etc. The water to be used for watering the plant troughs out side, win win

All in all a great little kitchen station, compact and all keep together neat and tidy 😁 and away from pests
This is similar to my set up on a community allotment shed and it worked very well

  13. Hey Jane, It is so exciting to get something done! Done might mean different things to different folks. In my mind getting done is when you feel it is functional. Now the character comes along the way years of fiddling with this and that folks giving gifts to you that become part of the shed. That could be tools, a small table, a chair anything that makes it you! In that way of thinking the shed is never done as it takes on a life that is always growing.
You have done a great job very proud of you I hope you have years of happiness with your shed!! God bless y'all be safe Cya next time

  14. This is a wonderful video of our shed project. I am green with envy that you have space, the vision, a Mike to help you…….and a tent fire place! congratulations and thanks for the dream! x

  15. Oh Jane, dream shed made by a dream team! Love the stained glass windows and the fire/stove is inspired. Well done you, Mike and Rocky (I’m sure he contributed as well).

  16. Absolutely LOVE the new shed Jane…..feels so homely inside…. and you still have some finishing touches to do. I really like the unfinished wood inside and the colour on the outside! You’ve inspired me to either get a new shed or revamp my existing wonky one! Really enjoyed the video Jane! 😁💪🏼🌻

  17. Hi Jane sorry been away in Croatia, only catching up with you all over last couple of days. Jane and Mike what a great achievement, the shed is so beautiful. I really love those stained glass windows, they really suit the place. Danny is a good influence re the stove,it's a great idea. Love your freebies and cheap buys to add to the shed. It will be brilliant to be able to run into the shed on rainy days. Well done you two.
