I worry about weed seeds from the clippings. when you rake up the clippings other things are going to be picked up as well. Maybe a mower with a bagger.
Already done this and it works a treat. There's dried grass mulch everywhere : surrounding my flowers in pots tomatoes strawberries you name it.. I've also soaked it in a bucket for fertiliser. I love all your tips. Thanks huw!!

Having grass clippings for mulch is the only reason I have any lawn to mow 👍🏻
