The Japanese Garden in Hasselt is an extension of the Kapermolenpark. With an area of 2.5 hectares, it is the largest Japanese garden in Europe. The garden was designed by Inoue Takuyuki. The Japanese garden is located between the city center, the Grote Ring, the Kapermolenpark, the De Schaverdijn ice rink.
