This is a add on to my last post regarding shading, Putting the greenhouse shading up took a long time! I attached one layer on all sides excluding door (thinking of shading that too tho).. it still was to warm so did a second layer, today it reached about 27 degrees but inside greenhouse it was 40! I have a window that opens when it gets to warm but dispite both of them things I’m still struggling to get the temperatures down, The percentage I used is 40% and a 70% on back panel which has got a 40% over that.

Being honest the shading seemed kinda thin and thinking about it now I regret buying it in the first place.
Some lovely people had adviced a shading paint, can you share your expertise on using this method and can you get it in a clear colour? Huge thanks in advanced

We have some shade fabric and we’re going to have to do the same thing. Our thought was to put it on the outside tho. Did you try that? Seems like that would be easier then trying to tie it all inside.

Live in Texas and had to do the shade cloth double draped over the top. Made a huge difference in temperature.
