This is my fifth time trying to grow my string of turtles. They were doing well and growing suddenly they started acting out and right now, I don’t know what’s wrong with them. I placed it in a south west facing sun. It’s not full sun but it’s okay. I do bottom feeding and I only water when it feels light.

I don’t know what’s wrong with it and it’s depressing having it because it keeps dying on me.

The white thing on the leaves isn’t soft or fuzzy. I don’t see any insects on it. Some of the leaves have some mark below it. I sprayed it with neem oil and castile soap once because there was an herb around it that was infested with aphids.

I hope I can get some help.

In the up close pics it looks like there’s a fine grit on the surface of the plant which could be spider mites. Maybe keep doing the sprays once a week and see what happens.
