Universal Studios has an unlimited use fast pass, unlike Disney.
I solved all those problems by deciding that I am not going there anymore. After 40 years of almost yearly visits (48 trips). I went there to escape the world, however, this is more complicated then actually being at work. Don't need that much complexity and stress.
I did not need a park pass reservation!!
I’m one of those people who loves to research and plan my trips so none of this phases me. However, I don’t recommend Disney for anyone who wants a laid back, go with the flow vacation. Maybe universal, maybe a cruise or a beach vacation. But Disney will easily overwhelm of you aren’t willing to do all the things. Honestly, if I don’t know if I could do it if I didn’t have 25 years of Disney experience under my belt.
We tried to take a mears taxi to Contemporary and the guard at parking lot entrance wouldn’t allow us in.
Many people would like to go back to Disney . But they still haven't paid off the Second Mortgage they took out to pay for their last trip to Disney .
Just do a good amount of planning and you'll be fine.
We went and luckily none of these issues were a part of our vacation because we planned ahead.
Universal is a much better time.
It’s a miserable experience these days. The Trans cult mob has taken over and you have a bunch of angry purple hair ITs without kids that resent kids and the traditional family unit. Men walking into the women’s bathroom makes it very uncomfortable for my 7 year old daughter and wife. They over price and inconvenience everything. I used to be a loyal pass holder. But now they detest Christian families. It’s very sad. Look up the video of the guy with a Mustache in a princess dress being the private shopper for girls at Bipidy store. So wrong. F disney
I loved going to Disney as a kid 30+ years ago. But now a days it has become more trouble than its worth. Just too many people. But I guess that as long as they keep comin' they'll keep making money and won't do anything to improve yhe experience of the poor suckers that drop thousands to go to the parks to sweat and stand in line all day.
had a coworker go to disney, he brought the kids even the in -laws too lol. the kids just wanted to hang out by the pools and didnt/couldnt handle waking up early and walking around in the hot orlando humidity all day. the kids were miserable being dragged around all day and the parents were miserable because the kids just wanted to stay at the hotel and skip the parks.
Makes you want to to disneyland instead.
It's a shame and disgusting what Disney trips have become. It's not 'traveler friendly' anymore. I'll never go back unless they get their act together and stop screwing around. They have become unreliable, irresponsible and unconscionable.
Went to Tokyo Disneyland/Universal a few years ago.
Had the time of my life.
Atmosphere was amazing, people were incredibly respectful, guests and employees and it was so clean.
Wouldnt even bother going to any other DL parks.
The problem with most Disney World vacations is that you literally have to plan out EVERYTHING! It's almost like you're still at work or school because have set schedules and itineraries. It basically a business trip with Disney characters. You can no longer down there, relax, and do what you want when you want to, which is the whole point of going on vacation.
Disney has lost its magic
Between their prices and their politics … hard pass for me now
There are many outlets in the Land Pavilion near the cafe. Also upstairs at the Seas pavilion. And at Pinocchio restaurant in fantasy land.
pay big money, Can't just show up and buy tickets at the gate, Wait in line all day, Be herded like sheep all day ,Sounds like a system most people don't want.
Underestimating weather…learned the hard way not to assume how Florida would be in wimter😅
Another person that he’d a bad time here May 2021. Adding to it Disneys attitude toward the traditional family. Disney can bite me.
The worst part about WDW are the Guests. Ex, I witnessed a guy struggling to get his baby stroller on the curb bc an entitled group of Guests decided to take a selfie on the curb ramp.
I do miss Disney. But it is not (and I don’t think it will ever be) the same. I would rather be at Universal Studios any day. Once Epic Universe is open, I might never think of Disney again. Sad.. never thought I would feel this way about Disney but they have definitely killed the magic.
i've always wanted to see disney world but i'm confident saying i have no interest in actually trying to do so anymore because i'm essentially guaranteed to regret the 75% of things i wanted to do but didn't . what a convoluted expensive hassle.
The weather ruined my vacation! I scheduled one month before the supposed start of the rainy season… BUtT that didn’t stop it from raining everyday and most of the day. So only had a chance to swim on one day between rain and enjoying the park wasn’t the same either. The rain dampened the mood and ruined the feeling of being on vacation.
For the record, just returned after 9 days at Boulder Ridge. Best vacation ever. Learn and adjust on the fly, love it. Great meals, incredible fireworks, rode all the rides and often gone by 3, relaxed in a Cabana, free tours of the Wilderness Lodge, etc
The reason people are having a bad vacation at Disney World is because they wasted their time and money going there
Going in the summer is the biggest mistake for sure the heat ruins the experience.
This sounds like going through hell! This would not be a “ relaxing experience “ for me. Money Sucking Corporate
I had a bad time because of my wife and mother in law.
Late for wake up times. Too long getting ready. We missed EVERY early access day. Typical old lady complaints, “why is it so hot?”, “why is this like so long?” Let’s go back to the pool.”
My kids first visit was by far my worst visit ever because of them.
We spend 2 1/2 hours in Hollywood Studios and they were done.
I now have zero desire to go to WDW. What a ridiculous rip off.
No one cares about Disney anymore. The Disney we knew and loved is….gone. This new entity is straight up garbage. Never giving them a dime again. Former Cast Member and 15 year annual pass holder here.
Park pass reservations? Are you kidding?
Spent time at WDW earlier this year with family and 6 yr old grandson. We had a grand time. I started watching your videos but it didn't take long to question if you even like WDW. It's a shame, I just think you in it to sell your food guides. First time I've watched you in awhile and still think you feel the same. We loved our time there. We had very little wait time and my grandson told me, "I always have the best times with you Gramma. And this was the BEST.
I went for the first time and my conplaints were:
1. Food was awful except Dole Whip and Skipper's. I wouldn't mind so much if I hadn't heard so many good things about it. Cheshire cat tail was tiny and stale. Not a great discovery when you're cranky and hot lol.
2. Most of the staff were unfriendly. I get that it's probably a sucky job, but there would be five cast members standing around a restaurant and none of them would help us. Or there would be someone standing at a door to a shop saying it wasn't an entrance. Just put a freaking sign up or get one-way doors. But Animal Kingdom had a lot of grouchy staff and it made the visit uncomfortable. One staff person straight up put my group in a line for the safari that cut off one member of our party. Sitting in a car riding off while your stomach falls through the floor because your family member is stuck on the loading bay…yeah i was really looking forward to the safari but i couldn't enjoy it because of that.
3. Things looked a bit dated and shabby in Magic Kingdom especially in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. I wasn't super impressed, especially when Universal has these super immersive lands that make you feel like you're on a movie set or better. Tomorrowland was cute but also a bit comical. This may be controversial, but as a non-regular, i walked around and wondered where the stuff from more recent properties or at least more popular ones were. I guess i expected there to be more of what i think of when i think Disney, but in reality it is a theme park associated with Disney? Idk.
4. Pandora was disappointing. It looked like a post-Apoctalyptic Pandora, not the vibrant one in the movies. The cheeseburger pods sucked. Hard.
I will say that we barely waited in line for anything, mainly because of Genie+. But my sister had basically schooled herself on how to use it and was our genie. Also, I'm glad i taped my feet with KT tape! I would definitely recommend.
All bad news for diz knee is great news for me. How is that stock performing these days? LOL….
Every company becomes corrupt in the end, tbh it's just a matter of when.
OMG 😱 isn’t life complicated enough ! Disney is meant to be a place where you can enjoy being a kid again , Walt would be spinning in his tea cup if he saw what happened too his vision , Disney is now a money machine and does not care a cent for its visitors 😮
This sounds very complicated…
There's gotta be a way to get my magic fill😢
Im obssessed with haunted mansion but I'll go on other stuff
I can look at stuffs online and think of Elsa 's powers.
Figure out stuff
I’m an adult who just recently visited Disney for my first time and it was the best day of my life! It really felt magical. We didn’t have kids with us, maybe that’s the key. Lol
