Got this Strelitzia today at the supermarket. Wanted one for a while now but the big ones are usually a lot more expensive. So I decided to get this smaller one and am hoping to get it to grow!
Any tips on how to take care of it are welcome 🙂 also curious how fast it grows

I can’t really see the tips if the plants leaf tip well. But in general if the tips turn yellow – too much water. Brown tips – not enough water.
I work at lowes in the garden center, and these baby’s love sunlight, and we water them once a week. If it hasn’t been sunny for a while, like during the colder seasons water once every 2 weeks. Because you don’t want them to rot from too much water that will just stay because the sun isn’t absorbing the water.
They will get big, so don’t hold back on repotting them. The best way to know if it needs repotting is if roots start to grow out the top. But these plants, in particular, like the tightness of a smaller pot, tho not for long.
