  1. Hi Laura, Dahlia Imperialis grows really tall. It might be better in the flowerbeds. I have Imperialis White & Pink, they are beautiful.

  2. I've planted my 4 tubers in a pot, so that in winter, I can keep them warm indoors in necessary, as my alternative experiment. Come the autumn, I will put them in several layers and sizes of pots inside each other with bubble wrap in between.

  3. Good morning Laura and Aaron! So happy to see the cutflower shed and orchard area looking so healthy. Overall the cutflower garden area has turned out both neat and tidy as well as beautiful when all is a mass of blooms. Hugs from N.C..❤️

  4. Hello from Germany.
#question would you plant some peonies for cutting in the cutting garden? Or do you have a reason why not? I just love them and we are lucky to have flower fields for cutting near by.

  5. You might need a taller structure than those posts to stop dahlia imperialis from blowing over. It is called a tree dahlia for a reason!

  6. Very educational vlog today. I appreciate the pop up screen with the mature plant as you are describing the tubers. 🏵I believe Dainty Dress Diaries over wintered her dahlias this past winter as well. Waiting to see the results.🌺 I planted my first dahlia ever, Lavendar Perfection, from grocery store tubers. One is potted, one in the ground. Let's see how they do in coastal zone 8.🌸

  7. Laura, good morning. I enjoyed your video this morning so much. Always learn something new from you. Grass and gardens are looking beautiful. Enjoy your day!❤

  8. Good morning Laura and Aaron. Thanks to you I overwintered my tubers somewhat successfully in our basement, and grew them on in our guest bedroom under grow lights on racks. Bought new ones and as they came in the mail I potted them and added them to the temporary upstairs “greenhouse”. They are all planted in our peony gardens now and seem very happy. Now I have to clean the bedroom 😂. I put a heavy tarp on the floor, so it’s not really bad at all. Thanks for the inspiration, but a greenhouse would make life a little easier!

  9. Laura! I love dahlias and my daughter Laura and I also started a small cutting flower garden this year !All because of inspiration from you 😁 It will be so beautiful to see your dahlias in bloom

  10. Glad to see that you bought all those large labels, just as they have in David Austin roses centre here in England.

  11. I have a Dahlia cut garden this year, thanks to Laura! I planted some last year and enjoyed them so much that I dedicated a space just for dahlias this year!

  12. Aww. That’s so disappointing, the only Dahlia you couldn’t find was “B Man”. I predict you will receive a “B Man” from someone in the future. 🤞
