🌼🌼 Mike’s Favourite Edible Flowers

Not only does Mike enjoy working with plants, but he also enjoys eating them. Since edible flowers are becoming a trend as of late, Mike wanted to share with you his favourites. But, he wants to stress three rules before you indulge:

Positively identify the flower by its botanical name to ensure it’s an edible variety.
Make sure the flowers you consume are organically grown.
Conduct a taste/allergy test to ensure you won’t have a negative reaction.

Here are the flowers that are mentioned:

🌼 English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Provence Lavender (Lavandula intermedia ‘Provence’)
🌼 Jasmine (Jasminum officinale)
🌼 Bee Balm (Monarda didyma)
🌼 Borage (Borago officinalis)
🌼 Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus)
🌼 Russian Sage (Perovskia atriplicifolia)

Follow Mike’s three rules and enjoy some edible flowers today.
