2. Core Aerate
3. Get yourself some topsoil, and lay it down.
4. Overseed (Jonathan Green Black Beauty Ultra is good)
5. Water twice per day to allow germination
6. If needed, add soil amendments; revive is a go-to for most people
That usually takes care of the lighter brown spots. Note the above should be done when the temperature is around 60+ degrees, sometime in mid-August.
