it doesn’t look terrible to me, but the presence of algae on the surface indicates it might be too moist. when the rootmass is little like that, it’s easy to overwater. is it in full sun ? it likes full sun. a little shade okay.

i’ve switched to clear starter pots so i can actually see if the soil needs water
