Paper vs. Plastic Seedling Containers – Our Experience

When it comes to container gardening, we’ve discovered that papery materials dry out much faster than plastic ones! 🥸

If you’re using cardboard or paper-based containers, it’s crucial to check them several times a day to make sure they have enough moisture 💦

This is even more important when you start hardening them off, as the wind will dry them out them out even faster 🌱

Comparatively papery containers aren’t great (which is why Bri won’t be using them unless the pot is at least 3 inches wide). If you’re the type of gardener that tends to check on your plants multiple times a day, we say go for it. They just need a ton of extra attention!❤️
