  1. God I hope the Activision side of blizzard doesn't get its grubby mits on this

  2. in the betas, the game seemed polished, dark (which i like), challenging (versus D3), and the main story line and side quest NPC's are interesting and engaging to me.

  3. (I will never read a reply no matter what) "Couldn't be more excited" uh what? I uninstalled the FREE beta after 5 minutes in game. That's great that they have some 'vast' dialogue and paid some voice actors… the gameplay itself plays like a mobile game transported to PC. Which is odd, because Diablo 3 has the most satisfying ARPG fighting out of any game. So they downgraded.

None of these developers actually seem passionate when talking about the game. There's a legs folded (literally two males here folding their damn legs like they have a tang box) "this is going to pay for that mortgage and send my physically deformed kid to school" vibe. "Sorry" if I don't seem convinced that two males with more estrogen than a schoolgirl aren't really goal driven.

Keep in mind not a single person who is responsible for Diablo or Diablo 2 is on their dev team. This is like sending a bunch of no-name players to pretend to be the 1990's Chicago Bulls. You might not watch basketball (I don't because I'm not a cuck), but everyone more or less knows that 90's Bulls were insane and all on steroids.

  4. Microtransactions will kill it sadly battle pass and drm nonsense all over this live service joke

  5. I love the art work. My only little negativity is about the monsters as the pack looks exactly the same. Probably the game engine can handle the same models much easier, but it would be nice to have min. 2-4 varieties of all type of monsters (like different body clothes, shapes, armor, weapon) etc. If they can do these visually appealing things for playable classes and npcs then maybe they should make more models of enemies for future seasons and expansions.

  6. The art team has been a standout performer so far.

I'd go so far as to say they got a little betrayed by the uninventive UI design.

  7. I hate that you can buy cosmetics. I want to earn looks not ask people where they bought their gear so I can have the same thing.

  8. None of this is true. Blizzard nerfed EVERYTHING fun into an unusable dumpster juice sandwich. Necromancer is dead literally and figuratively, same with Sorcerer. It seems like a lot of veterans of the Diablo franchise like Druid and Rogue so there are still some viable builds there but it's only a matter of time until they nerf those into the dirt as well. The team at Blizzard went absolutely nuts nerfing everything that made the open/closed betas fun. I know there are going to be a ton of very unhappy people who bought this game based on that experience only to find out Blizzard has sucked every ounce of fun from the game for the average/new player. I'm not talking about the end game either. I'm talking about the nightmare slog that is leveling and the early campaign. My guess is most people won't even make it to the end of that campaign due to the shockingly unfun state they've nerfed this game into.

  9. Always online? Don't care then. This should absolutely be able to play offline. Hard pass.

  10. Ty for an excellent YouTube video please keep it coming. I like the narrator voice and how she made the video.
