After more than a decade cultivating their yard into their own eco-friendly oasis, a letter from a couple’s HOA threatened to uproot it all–so they fought back.

  1. morons like you move into a "55 years old +" community and then want to move-in families full of children.

  2. That yard looked horrible. If you don’t want to abide by HOA rules, don’t move into a development that has one. It’s really that simple.

  3. Meaningless drivel. Nature doesn't pick out the 'weeds' from its vegetation. I more natural approach would be to let grow, what grows.

  4. I'm not a fan of the looks of their yard, but I am even less of a fan of HOA's

  5. I had a neighbor ask if I wanted the name of his lawn people….ChemLawn. No, I will let it stay chemical free. It gets mowed regularly and yes, I have dandelions. Those are the first flowers of spring that the bees have to feed on. With the price of groceries, dandelion greens make a great addition to salads.

  6. Good for them! HOAs need to be disbanded as some people have abused their “power”.

  7. Well hells bells, I guess the barking dogs next door are living within their natural environment…A nuisance to some but the sound of life to others

  8. Best not to argue with a woke liberal Biden loving liberal couple. On the bright side they lost $150K to save some weeds.

  9. I agree it’s BS, but they’re the ones who signed a contract with the HOA. So it’s appropriate that they should have to spend all the money on legal fees. It’s their fault they were in this situation.

  10. This is just another example of the law bending for rich people. Sad that it took 150k + 3years , how can a system be effective if thats what it takes for change
