The front yard is finally done! Okay…I can hear you say ‘NOT!’… that you know me better than that. Truly, a garden is never finished, yet I feel the bones are now in place and I can play with perennials and annuals. Enjoy!

  1. I had no doubt you would pull this off beautifully. Especially since you had some help with this. It’s gorgeous.

  2. Honestly, when I first saw the cottage front area, I thought it looked very sad. Now, however, you have transformed it into a vibrant beautiful garden in an amazingly short time. I have really enjoyed watching the process and hearing your thoughts about why you made design decisions.

  3. I am floored at the remarkable change. It has been fun to watch. I wish I could have a transformation like this. Lol

  4. I ordered one of the Cranberry Creek boxwood topiaries from Premier Plant Solutions and it arrived yesterday. It is (was) a beautiful plant, but disappointingly the upper 10" of the growing tip was broken off in shipping by UPS. The box looked like an elephant sat on it. UPS obviously didn't heed any of the handling instructions printed on the box. I guess I'll just have a bushier boxwood than a shaped topiary. I was able to get credit on the order from Amazon.

  5. Linda, I have never like a garden in the front yard. However, I have never seen one done by you. It is beautiful, gorgeous, and lovely. Great job!

  6. Absolutely amazing!! I knew you could but I'm still stunned at the end result. Congratulations, Linda on a beautiful front yard.

  7. I love love all that you did but when I first saw the reveal from the front my first thought was the umbrella and tree are hiding the cuteness of the cottage in the front of the house. That’s beautiful architectural detail! Show it off💕🌺💕

  8. Hey Linda,
Love your new landscape. I have one question. You have the Autumn’s Edge but no other repeat. I find it odd that the rest of your garden is cool colors.
Why don’t you repeat that Autumn’s edge on the other side?

  9. Linda the front garden is absolutely beautiful! Unbelievable transformation in Such a short time. I love it.

  10. The front yard make over is fantastic. The side also is beautiful. But one question keeps popping up. What happens in the winter months when most the greenery reacts to the COLD or SNOW conditions? What’s your plan of action!!!!

  11. That looks so amazing, thank you for bringing along for the journey! I love those jeans…what is the brand?

  12. Any chance Stewart could photograph the foxglove seedlings? Are these the ones you had as a surprise in that rectangle pot with the gravel topping? I copied you to see if I could get the same results and a I have many seedling foxglove babies that I will be excited to plant in my garden!!

  13. I buy Gaura 'Whirling Butterflies' Linda. It's gorgeous.
I love your new garden by the way. I follow you from Maidenhead in Berkshire, England.

  14. Your front garden looks fabulous! I can't help but notice, all of the pollinators flying around during filming. It sure didn't take them long to find such a lovely place.
