1. Nicki Chapman and Angellica Bell have exclusive access to the glitz and glamour of the opening day of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023. They are joined by a team of gardening experts, including Rachel de Thame, who travels the world without even leaving the showground, and Toby Buckland, who shows us how to upgrade our gardens the Chelsea way.
Carol Klein is searching out the hidden treasures we are all going to want in our gardens, while James Wong uncovers the secrets to our lawns. And, as the show hosts its very first wedding, Nicki gets a lesson in creating floral garlands worthy of any celebration.
2. Monty Don and Joe Swift review some of the 35 inspirational gardens on offer, as well as the immaculate displays of growers in the Great Pavilion. Adam Frost delves into a garden created with community in mind, while Arit Anderson heads to the ingenious houseplant studios. Frances Tophill takes a first look at the planting styles to look out for at the show, while Carol Klein gets us in the mood for summer with beautiful blooms. And Sophie Raworth is on hand to welcome the royal family to the show.

Thank you so much for sharing. On a Saturday morning here in NZ it’s always a treat to watch Gardens world and this week wow, I’m so happy to be able to watch the Chelsea Flower show.
So a big thank you to you. 😊
Adam's interpretation of the Eastern Eye Garden of Unity is eye-opening.
love carol, she is a treasure
Oh my god, thank you!
Loud speakers in a tranquil garden? That would have me running to the gate.
Thanks so much for this. Greetings from Switzerland.
Please keep it coming!❤
It is amazing and fantastic that you are posting all the Chelsea shows!!! 1000 Thanks for that! 💚
Here in Germany there is always nothing to hear or watch about it…
Monti in a tie! 🙂 … Someday I will go to Chelsea
Have you been to see the Embankment entrance – the Bullring Gate? My daughter Poppy Sturley designed and built the installation. She was asked by the RHS to submit a design last Autumn! She heard she’d been successful early this year. Everyone got behind her and her team! What a fabulous opportunity! However, a succession of curveballs have continuously been hurled at her, namely a long cold spring, with flower growers pulling out due to the cold weather and even last week the rose supplier had a frost on Monday and had to phone Poppy with the bad news that the blooms had been damaged.
This is were the story gets warm and fuzzy.
Thanks to our wonderful village community of West Kington, in Wiltshire, those that actually had flowers in their gardens offered them up to Poppy. A team of friends went and foraged foliage and flowers – several times, in order that her installation could be achieved, along with her a chance sourcing some random girl, that had taken over a flower farm in Shropshire, and had just started going it alone and was only selling her flowers in a local market on a Friday! She came up trumps! She supplied many of the flowers Poppy needed, and between the two sources of West Kington donations and the flower girl a stunning display was created. We hope you enjoy it and looking deeply within. There are chrysalis, a wild bees nest bees, butterflies etc. Have fun — there is much more to the story……TBC. X
Thank you for posting.❤ what a treat.
That is NOT a wedding, how dare they take an act of worship as a complete joke, disgusting.
