Hey man , I’m having a similar problem where I’m a Designer/Project Manager but some of the work by the guys and even by the owner is sometimes shoddy/rushed / not done right . For example, there was this pergola and they didn’t even pour the base concrete footings correctly (they mixed it with the dirt ). And i told them that’s not done right ; but they and the owner left it. Sure enough , the pergola contractors come in to install pergola and they say the same damn thing I said. And they left without doing the job because it wasn’t done right. Then they go ahead and blame it on me , to the client . Like wtf .I need to start my own business but can’t get my contractors license until 4 years experience based on the CA standards . I’m only on year one. Is there anyway around this that you know of ? I’m in Northern California too, any advice would be greatly appreciated .

This whole video is on point. When you’re broke AF, you don’t have no choice, but to figure it out. Love hearing your story about how you was able to get people to believe that you could do the job. You are absolutely correct get out there document and show people that you can do it.
What’s your personal net profit on a 100k job. How much goes to you after employees and materials. I know you might not want to answer that. Me personally I wouldn’t mind my employees knowing how much I make.
It’s really hard to believe this when a lot of people descend from people who made all their riches from free slave labor and if you don’t know this then you are a dummy. Most businesses, corporations and banks made their money from slavery. I been in this country for a very long time but I realize as a Mexican people don’t want to pay you fair I mean there’s a lot of work but people don’t pay and always take advantage of one’s naiveness and inexperience. In business you have to invest wether is the hard way meaning you don’t have nothing or the easy way when you have money, friends or family members that can help you and that’s the way it should be. In conclusion I don’t believe all the rhetoric about starting from the bottom then to become successful I mean the percentage of that is like extremely low specially knowing the fact that everything the u.s has was accomplished by free slave labor even to this day if you can only get paid just to pay rent, food, clothing and bills only nothing much left to really enjoy life; we are still in slavery.

The thing is that with all the employees you have, equipment, trucks, etc.etc… you need to selling 100k job every week, whats your profit? 10%, 15% 20% maybe??? Thats what you need to be explaining.
Remember when people start showing you how much money they make on their job, the market is oversaturated and they are making YOU their side income.
I mean fair play to you for being able to sell THIS (meh) for 100k but…saying that people are basically sh*t because they live in the ''wrong area''. Guess what, no everyone can move to an area where people have enough spare money to spend 100k on fake grass and couple of rocks

The way is to partner with a team that gets it done. Of course someone has no ideas how to get a six figure job… because others get them nonstop in California. You have to partner with people who understand how to not only manage these jobs, but respond when things go sideways in managing clients and suppliers. …And you must be licensed, bonded and insured.

Don't do the zoom in and zoom out still shots, they make the viewer dizzy as hell. Just stick with the normal wide angle shots without the zooming.

I been in d2d sales for solar. I got into Landscaping sales recently, this stuff pays going after high ticket sales.
Its going to be really funny when everyone who has any money moves out of Commiefornia because they don't want to pay reparations to lowlifes who were never slaves.
$100k for this? 80 percent of this could be done by the homeowner.
