If you’ve got access to a 3d printer or know someone with one you could take some measurements and model up a custom funnel solution real quick

I mean, you have a gutter….In theory you can get *more* gutter and direct it where you want.
I think the big takeaway from this is that you don’t necessarily need something that matches any of these profiles. You could just take a PVC pipe to catch the bulk of the falling water. Even if you don’t get it all, you’ll probably get most of it.

I’ve seen people use chain to guide water into a reservoir. Not sure how well it works.

A rope, chain, or a string will take that water wherever you want if you hang it from where the water is dripping.

Close the end with a piece of plastic and some silicon, then add a PVC pipe downspout screwed in from the bottom with a threaded adapter.
EDIT – silicone, as in the glue, not the boobs. Definitely not your mobo.

I would cut a hole… before the end of that gutter. Any size you want, based on the downspout you can find at your local hardware store.
Fit the downspout into your new hole, and done.
They sell a lot of models that can bend or flex in direction as well as size.
//option 2// like others said here, just fit whatever you can to the open side. Still the open side should be closed to maximize the water collection.
Have fun either way!

I drilled a hole in mine and added a 3/4″ pipe to collect the water. Capped that side with an end cap, but left the other side open. That way if the rain is too heavy to drain down the tube, it can still exit the other side without spilling over the gutter.
I’ve been waiting for someone to post about this so I could piggy back off of it. I am not in a position to have a rain catch yet, but am trying to learn all I can for when the day comes. When it comes to catching water from gutters like such, what about contaminants from roof run off? Debris accumulating in gutters? (I guess you’d have to regularly check them/clean them) Etc? Would it still be okay to use for plants for example?

Pvc tube? Just use pipe clamps and anchor there, then use angled fitting to run into your collection reservoir.

I bought these, https://www.diy.com/departments/greenhouse-35mm-guttering-rainwater-kit-pack-of-2-/5060266595387_BQ.prd?ds_rl=1272379&gclid=Cj0KCQjwu-KiBhCsARIsAPztUF0Qg3qWZ4P7Io6RevxAQkJuJV9L9ZW8hlaCtD5p2HHY6bGNIoABNvoaAr7vEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
They fit into the gutter ends and work perfect. Would recommend, I use them to redirect the waters from a decking.
Square steel tubing, maybe 2 inch?

Just attach a chain
