Welcome to my latest video, where I showcase the endless possibilities of the Cricut Maker machine by creating a beautiful dollhouse from scratch. In this video, I take you through the entire process of designing and cutting the pieces to assemble a stunning miniature dollhouse that any child (or adult!) would love to play with.
Not only is this project a fun and engaging way to use your Cricut Maker machine, but it also allows you to create something special for yourself or a loved one. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just starting out, you’ll love the versatility and creativity that the Cricut Maker machine offers.

  1. Hi everyone, a little tip, instead of using basswood, use heavy chipboard for your project. In hindsight, I probably should have used this material.

  2. Just adorable and watching you have that much fun filled my heart, Lilly is going to have fun with it great first try.

  3. I've seen tips from cricut users. Ball up aluminium foil and stick your blade in the foil over and over (25 times or so). It will clean the blade and also sharpen it! I have used foil to sharpen my scissors forever! Just cut the foil with your scissors. It works!
Love the idea and love even more, how much fun you had making it! Lilly will love it!
    God bless

  4. Well done on your house, lovely, you can attach very thin wire battery lights to inside the roof, it will look nice at night time,xx

  5. Hi Catherine, Add base boards at the bottom of the walls. Create a thatch roof with moss for the roof and add a straight piece of wood in back of the door to straighten it out. Style it as a chair rail. This would be easy and it will also hide many "mistakes." Overall, your dollhouse is absolutely creative and 😃wonderful! Kudos to you!

  6. Serious memories o my sister and I making doll houses out of cardboard boxes they were quite elaborate ( to us anyway) made furnishings too

  7. Oh I love it!! What fun and yes I also made doll houses from cereal boxes and matchbox beds for my tiny babies. So nostalgic 💖

  8. You are so creative, Catherine. I live the way your mind works, and as you said, it brought back memories. I can remember making houses out of boxes when I was little x

  9. I was bought a beautiful dolls house kit as a retirement present from my family….Im in the process of decorating now….. ive got a passion for minatures. ..found a treasure of a book called Miss Violets Dolls house by Sam McKechnie…..such fun !!

  10. Super cute idea!! Great job I love this dollhouse project. Definitely nostalgia for me & cereal box. That is the extent of my creativity even as an adult. This wouod be great for Polly pocket size dolls-that is what my daughter played with,-almost 20 years ago. Haha! Love this Catherine.
