Ivan great video! This is about runner beans. I’ve grown then from seed and they’ve overtaken so I’ve had to plant them out side. I’ve protected them with cardboard etc to keep the wind off – when is it best to remove these do you think as I’m thinking they’ve got to stand on there own at some point 😂
Congrats at getting them in! And that cauliflower looks good. I'd bet that last one will form a head but it's late!
🌈💚🍀
I just wanted to say, thanks for being genuine and non pretentious. Some people set up gardening channels and their ego gets in the way, so the channel becomes more about the person than gardening. To me it feels like we're indulging them by watching their videos. I really appreciate non pretentious gardening channels like yours where you genuinely want to help people learn and we all learn together.
We had bad winds last night and I had to put my small tomatoes inside a tub to protect them. I was worried about the ones I had already planted but it looks like they made it okay. We finally got some much needed rain here in the part of Texas I live in. It makes us so happy to finally plant those tomatoes that we have watched over from seedling birth. Glad to see yours in their new homes,
Im really nervous about plant out my tomatoes , even if its just in my greenhouse plot lol. l'v have been looking after them for so long. l think l'll try one tomorrow as it's my planting out Monday. Sowed my little gem seeds today plus more succession seeds. Everything is growing so well . l think this is going to be my best year of veg growing in containers/harvest thanks to yr channel 🙂
Thanks for a great update Ivan, your demonstrations on how to do things makes gardening so much easier. Fingers crossed for the cauliflower. Thanks for sharing.
Good things come to,those who wait and our case I guess that’s better weather. I put 3 tomatoes out to test the waters and it seems they are ok so hopefully this week I can the rest outside. Have a superb week Ivan and Ginny, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
Yay tomatoes 🍅 thank you for the reminder to pinch out the side shoots!! I just had a look at mine on the windowsill, and I have about 6 on each plant!!!
Love the cabbage pruning technique 🫱🫱🫱

Cracking video as always, I put all of mine out too, I’ve used the self watering pots from wilko. Had my first drop of peas, all 3 of them, so glad I took the risk at planting them out!
Your plants are doing really well, cabbages and cauliflower looking great. Looking forward to planting my tomatoes out but they are still a bit on the small side, also looking forward to seeing your next videos.
Thanks Ivan, for this great planting out update, Take care and all the best. Stevie

Nice Cauli Ivan, I began to think mine would not form heads in the tunnel this year and was going to cut them down, but two weeks ago they suddenly started to appear. Its amazing just how fast that lovely white head grows in literally days. Im about to cut number 4 this week its been great because they didnt all come at once and im also planting toms as I remove them. Cheers.
Really useful, for a first time veg grower, this stuff is vital, thank you!
Hi Ivan, thank you for a very informative video, quick question what part of the UK are you? I’m in the South East, London zone 9a. I have 2 tumbling Tom tomatoes and was wondering if I could put both in the same hanging basket? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.
