I recently found out that you can actually eat Virginia Bluebells, which is a native plant species here. It only flowers for about 2 weeks in early springtime, and makes absolutely gorgeous blue carpeting all over the forest floor if you’re lucky enough to find a big patch of it. But apparently you CAN eat it! (with caution though, since someone else told me otherwise…which we will be investigating!) Just watch and find out
