A standing wave in my container pond. This was created by my solar powered water fountain filter trickling water over into my container pond. Apparently sanding waves form when two waves of identical frequency interfere with one another while traveling opposite directions along the same medium. I recorded this natural phenomenon in slow motion for even better effect.
