Wouldnt rust be an issue from the rain n watering?
Hold on they are flipping out over this cabinet but not dudes in sports lol
RUST. Terra cotta is better.
I LOVE your repurposing a four drawer filing cabinet into a large planter! 🙌 When I borrow your idea, I think I will drill a few more drainage holes, but not so many the metal is weakened. After the bags of pea gravel, I will add recyclable plastic bottles with lids that I save for drainage in large pots. Next, I will wet down the leaves before adding a layer of topsoil. Then I will add my potting soil and plants. I only wish I could figure out how to pin your idea to Pinterest! ❤
can you make a dresser out of them a tall boy 😊
Love love🎉
If people are flipping out about this they need to get a life.
Last one was gorgeous! What paint was that?
Awesome !! Thank You.
Beautiful I love it.
What people and what is making them flip out?
For some diys, visit your local hazardous waste facilities in your area. You can gets paints and things for projects for free. In my area you are allowed 10 free items per month.
I'll file that away! Lol😂
And then it turns to rust…not the greatest idea
Tons of commercial properties are going unleased, so there should be a ton of these available for sale.
Cute idea, but the water and dirt draining out the bottom is going to rot out the deck boards. With all that weight, the wood will stay constantly wet.
Hang on … this lady thinks a coat or 2 of rustoleum paint (on the outside, not even inside) is going to protect a metal filing cabinet full of wet dirt ?? Lmao I pity whoever is dumb enough to copy this
Plywood to fill in the bottom right?
Get rid of that foam roller and get a real roller a Mico fiber 4 inch roller it holds more paint and if you roll the paint out good the paint will lay down and look great. Trust me I was a painter for over 40 years.
The only thing I'd do different is raise it up off the deck a bit to avoid as much damage as possible in that spot, maybe even on small wheels for easy moving 😊.
