Absolutely natural to have concerns I traveled a lot on vacations & with my job and up to this day I hate traveling and always I have worries and concerns So please do not apologize . Have a safe happy trip and enjoy ❤️🥰
Talk as much as you want… you’re obviously doing something right… we are all here listening and keep coming back 🙏😊❤️👍
❤❤❤❤
Lovely video,Nanny!! As always you are so delightful, and full of practical advice❤ Hope your trip is great, and thank you for sharing your concerns. We all have them and we admire you for not letting them stop you from living life to the fullest! Love, you,Nanny!!!
You are so right with aging problems, we all do different things in our own way. Thank you for sharing all these tips. Blessing to you all enjoy your trip. 🙏👍👏😘
There are so many incontinence options to wear these days. Something for everyone. Take a look. Companies will send you samples.
Nanny thanks so much for talking about "shhh and we don't talk about it but i'm glad you did because we all have these issues … i love your garden looking forward to the zinnia's so colourful … looking forward to your video's from Idaho so travel safe and you and Moosie have a fabulous time Sending Blessings and Hugs 😍😘
I think all of us “seniors” have flying anxieties. I am 76 and my only child and grandchild live in Europe. I am visually impaired and have a bum hip…but those wheelchairs get me to every gate and to the front if every line. Otherwise, I would be too afraid to make the trip by myself. It’s scary, but the thought of not visiting my family is even scarier. We’ve gotta do what we can for as long as we can..! Enjoy your time with your Idaho family❤️
Nanny hello, watching your video late on the TV & I just want to comment in Moosey getting to his seat on the aircraft..They have what's called in flight chairs; like a smaller modified wheelchair which is slimmer to fit down the aisle with no arm rests; please have Billy call the airline & reserve this for him; no reason to risk his falling or adding stress. Ok…will finish watching the video. Hugs & prayers 🙏.
Thanks for sharing & talking about what all of us of a certain age begin to worry about these private issues. It makes all feel better knowing we’re all in this together. Hope your trip is full of fun & love.
I can totally relate to all the preparations you need to do for your and Moose’s plan trip to Idaho. It is a lot to do. But, once your on the plane and in your seat you’ll have a sigh of relief and off you go to have a wonderful time with family and friends. Everything will be okay. I know when I get anxious my back and knee starts to act up and become painful. My problem is coming to the realization that I am getting older and can’t do everything I used to do when I was younger. It is a struggle mentally and physically. And, at times even emotionally. It is not easy accepting fate. But it is what it is and it could always be worse and I count my blessings. I don’t know how you do everything. You got a lot on your plate. My mom had a prolapse operation too. So many of us are inconvenienced by this leakage problem. Thanks so much for talking about this problem and sharing your experience dealing with this problem. Your garden is really coming along very nice and once everything is in bloom it is going to be beautiful. Please take care and God Bless. ❤
Greetings Nanny! I always have travel anxiety when preparing for a trip. Maybe it's even normal! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Thank you both for sharing your lovely life journey. ❤
Enjoy your trip Nanny and Moose 😊👍🏻🤗 Your garden is looking good 👍🏻
Texas Lady
My two lilac trees are budding out right now. It's one of my favorites. I have many favorites.
For sure, be good to your body. We don't have to be so tough anymore as we age. Let folks know when you require help or ease @Nanny. Folks are great and they love to help! 😍
Squatty Potty The Original Bathroom Toilet Stool (Amazon) set in front of the toilet is something that might help the urine to pass more completely because it imitates squatting, like the old days where folks would squat in the forest to pee or poo. I've got one.
Hi Nanny, that "Skunk-Story"
Was so funny, I told all of my family and we were laughing like crasy.
Don't worry so much about the trip, there are so many people around you, that are going to help you. You will see, it all will work out just fine. And think of all the people people, that include you in there prayers.
Love ❤, Elke
Bless your heart, such a worry about the trip.Think you will be ok.But yes,we woman have some of the same problems as we get older. Not much fun,but glad to still be alive.Wishing you both the best.
Boy I feel your stress about airports. I flew the end of 21 & I was so stressed about having my paperwork, the right things in my bags, etc. If you check your bags, just put toiletry stuff in plastic bags. Airports are concerned about leakage above all. Be sure any paperwork you need is in your purse. Also keep a couple of days' medication in your purse or carry on. Beyond that, it really wasn't all that different. I had stressed for NOTHING. Isn't that always the way it goes?! Keep a notepad by your bed & if you think of something, jot it down.
Re: Incontinence- ugh! I had to have a bladder suspension when I was in my 30s. Since then i have suffered from bladder spasms. So annoying! Seems like they are worst when I actually SEE the toilet 😂 Your tips are right on the money. If I walk past a bathroom, I stop & go – even if I don't have the urge! (When we travel, I can tell you where all the best public bathrooms are 😉) The secondary bladder emptying – also true. And – especially if I'm traveling – I wear clothes that give me easy & fast access.
Garden is looking amazing! Wind here destroys so much, plus we've had lots of cold, so only 2 of my seed plantings came up (out of probably 10 pots). When you get home, everything will be in full bloom!
Love you both, prayers, hugs, and blessings from West Texas–
There is also the option of boarding the plane and flying in a wheelchair. I' would think Matthew would know an organisation, where they can ansver questions about it. -Don't bother to reply to this! -I know you are super busy.
I had a surgery for my dribble issues. I saw a gyno urologist who said it was caused by my having my 3 beautiful children. Lord, I could hiccup and flood the place 🤗
You're right about the extra pee in your bladder after you go. The doctor's test was to have me go and then see what was left with a catheter. I will say that the vaginal mesh surgery was the worst surgery I've ever experienced. Recovery time was over a month!! Be sure if you're doing that surgery, to clear your schedule for a long time. I don't want to scare anyone but I'm not sure if I would have done it if I'd known what it entailed. It was scheduled at the wrong time too. A little bit after my surgery my husband was diagnosed with cancer and he had to have a major surgery. The cancer was in his chest and he was cut open like a heart surgery. I wasn't quite up to everything but you know, you never know what you're capable of doing until you do it. At least he's not a whiny man and after about a week of my doing almost everything for him, he was up and about. It went well by the grace of God. The cancer is gone. It's been 4 years in July. Thank you Jesus 💗
OMG!! Love zinnias, I am in Alabama and I think we have had our last frost so I will be planting my zinnia seeds soon.😊 so much bang for your buck, they produce all summer into fall, I love to cut and make a nice bouquet for inside. Make sure to show the progress of your planting. Love the overalls and hat too.
Nanny….you gave me a great belly laugh when you posted you looked like a proper farmer and only needed a pitch fork!!
I understand fully about your concern a lot flying, my son is taking me to Paris in July for my 84th Birthday…..hope I’m up for it as I just had thyroid surgery. I recognized a few years ago that taking a few more minutes after a pee was worth the wait, there was more there….love you, I’m so excited to go along with you on your trip🥰
Oh Nanny you should know you can talk about anything with this gang! At 78 I too am a member of the leakage club. I bought some of the panties they advertise to collect up to a cup of liquid, don't waste your $$$ ladies they are only good for drips, but I do feel secure in my head. Looks like we all have similar problems. Don't worry about these things, we think so much will happen when in fact things turn out okay. Your smart to take the wheelchair to the boarding area, I do as well, here in Boston the boarding area is far from check in. Your garden looks beautiful, you do a lot of work, I'm tired watching you. Hope you take some time to relax before your trip! Stay well.
What a sweetheart you are nannie…love watching you. I think your marvellous doing all these exciting things…good luck ❤
Oh Nanny, when you share your concerns, whether personal or other, please know that you are voicing the concerns that many share and have no one to talk to. Your honesty is a true gift to us and I wouldn’t want you guys to ever hold back. Also, while you are stressing about skin care etc., you can check most in your luggage & it may be worth an extra checked bag for your piece of mind. I will also say, lists are definitely your friend when getting ready to travel. And in reality, worst case scenario, if you forget something, you buy it or Amazon it while you are there. Try relaxing when you can and know that your visit, experiences and memories will be more than worth the preparations. Have a beautiful week ahead.🙏🌻
Hi Nanny, I don’t mind at all that you talked about your worries. I think it’s quite natural to think of these things, I do and I’m in my fifties so it’s not an age thing.
I know that when you get to your sons all this will be forgotten and you will have a wonderful time making more memories.
I hope you have a good time. Love to you both. Xxx
Hi Nanny, I am also one of those ladies of a certain age who wear panty liners! 😂
I think you are so honest about all these feminine things.
I had a Hysterectomy at the age of 42 year’s, so my Pelvic Floor has been Laminated for many year’s now! 😜
You just have to put your best foot forward and get on with Life.
You have a fabulous Family and they will help you with all they can.

Hi Nanny, its my first time watching your channel. Im a retired nurse, and talking about incontinence comes naturally. I recently purchased a vitamin for urgency, it is called Angelica, it helps and delays the rush to the bathroom. I take it when I take a long trip or going out for a few hours. Anyway enjoy your vacation with the Moose
Here's another little tip, when on the toilet, lean to one side, lifting up your hip,do this on the other side as well, often you will find you have a small additional output.I also lean way down in front gently pushing on my stomach, again a little bit more will come out.Have a wonderful time! Safe travels!
hello dear Nanny! Another wonderful video. Your garden is just lovely! And your discussion of the 'shhh' issue was so on target and honest. Love you new garden over-alls that match your hat. Yes, traveling has become so much more stressful, but you have it all in your stride and there are always employees to lend a hand. A dear friend recently flew from Pa. to Florida and had a golf cart ride through the airport to her destination….she felt like a queen! Pack light, you can always buy anything you need once you get to your destination. Hugs and Happy planning!
You will have a wonderful time! I know flights are a worry. I book seats based on where restrooms are located. We just returned from over 14 hour flight from Dubai and it was a challenge and I’m almost 20 years younger than you 💜🇨🇦
Thank you for your wisdom and advice. ❤
Hello Nanny,What a beautiful morning panoramic view and sweet Harley is a darling. I had to laugh when you said you look like a farmer. I would say you look like a very elegant farmer. I like your idea of planting your eggplants, peppers tomatoes in pots . I may try that this year instead of plowing the ground and planting direct in the earth with some of my vegetable plants. About aches and pains in the joints. I think you may know I do not use any (N SAIDs ) Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs anymore and fell better without them,Instead I use natural herbs like nettle or Moringa leaves ( you can easily grow the moringa plant in your California garden as well a nettle that one can use the green leaves as is or can dry and use all year round in a tea or take by the teaspoon in yogourt or smoothie or just mixed in plain water, .If you research you can find many different natural noninflammatory natural products that do not have any of the negative side effect the pharma N SAID have. If you research also for yourself, you will find studies that confirm the damage these N said drugs do to your muscles and joints and body in the long run = they make things worse for your muscles, tendons and joints in the long run of things. There is a doctor in California who also has a practice in new Mexico by the name of Dr. John Bergman who has an online channel with videos on the subject matter explaining what these n said do to your body. I think it is worth while to listen to what research findings has to say on the subject matter. About incontinence, there are also some washable leak absorbent underwear that you can find. There is an online company by the name of knix that makes them. I hope you will get this post and that it wont be deleted by the powers that control free speech.🌱🌺🥬🍆🥬🫑🥬🍅🫒🌶🍃🌻🌿
Love u Nanny
