  1. Jim and Stephany, Ram's solution to deal with water run-off on their property is well thought out and makes perfect sense. Hopefully, more gardeners will follow this sound advice of using rain gardens to keep pollutants out of the waterways. Thank you, Ram and Tom, for allowing Jim and Stephany to video your lovely gardens! Blessings to you. ~Margie🤗🐞🐝💐🦋

  2. Does Ram use fertilizer, compost, mulch or no amendments? Is her soil already very good?

  3. Thanks for this video explaining how to deal with water runoff in such a spectacular way!! Ram is so gifted and such a delightful lady! The videos filmed in her garden are some of the best you’ve shared on this channel.

  4. Hi Jim and Stephanie! Ram and Tom's garden is definitely a beautiful masterpiece. 😍 perfect planning. Thank you ALL for sharing.

  5. The cares of the world have become too overwhelming and I must escape … to the backyard. Your hard work is easy to see.

  6. You should do a full tour filmed in this same manner! Walk us through and pause… walk, pause… walk, pause… that would be AWESOME!😍

  7. So clever, so beautiful, so inspirational 😊 Thank you so much to Ram & Tom for sharing their paradise! And thank you for bringing this wonderful world into our awareness! We learn so much from all of you!

  8. I’m so grateful for this video. We just bought a property and I’m fighting drainage and severe erosion. The previous owner covered it up with new topsoil. But we’ve been very wet this winter and spring and we’ve got more rain coming all this week. I absolutely love your channel. Thank you.

  9. This is just masterfully done, mimicking nature to such an extent requires working with the land. Anybody can move dirt & install drainage, this is artwork! Always love videos from there.

  10. I love this video content a lot – visually a great and very stimulating treat and listening to Jim in his wheelhouse here is just superb. Well done, nice going and thank you!

  11. So now here’s my compliments to the gardener: wow my goodness gracious! This garden is happy. It shows. All those plants crammed in so perfectly in sync together. That dry creek bed to stop the water is absolutely genius. I’m so very impressed.

  12. I would never have known that all that engineering was going on amongst all that beauty. I learned a lot and will be much more aware of this in the future. Thank you, Jim.

  13. That is so impressive — given me much food for thought for my property, which has lots of steep slopes. Thanks again, Ram, Tom, Jim and Stephany!

  14. Thank you for focusing on the use of garden infrastructure to manage water in this video. Definitely a growing concern over time, especially in the Southeast on clay.

  15. Wow! This is a real engineering feat she has accomplished in a beautiful garden. Hats off to Ram.

  16. I just love Ram and Tom’s garden. It just seems like a slice of heaven on earth.

  17. Engineering plus plants equals glorious landscaping. Astonishing beautiful. It’s refreshing to see a spectacular garden that doesn’t rely on masses of flowers.

  18. Ram’s garden is so so beautiful- truly inspiring. Love how she reuses the tree with the stumps & art. Great habitat for birds too!

  19. How often does it rain in this location? And how many inches per year? My only garden experience is in a dry area of CA, so it's hard to imagine the water needs for this kind of garden.

  20. thank you for finally walking thru this wonderful place and talking thru it like you did. Really enjoyable and educational!

  21. Jim,
@ the start, when you said, "Here's this beautiful fountain,," you forgot to add, "W/ stunning koi." 😉😊

  23. Such an amazing garden! Every tour is a treat! How do they get all of the rocks and stones down to the lower part?

  24. Wondering about suggestions for planting over a septic drain field. Lots of boring grass. Any suggestions?

  25. What an incredible garden! Thank you so much for sharing and I so appreciate your slower detailed description so we can learn and be inspired!
