Hi 👋 Laura
Yay! Laura finally answered a comment of mine! I’ve hit the lottery! So grateful for this channel inspiring us all to garden to our heart’s content!
Yes, I’ve used cayenne pepper to keep squirrels out. Have a great day guys!
There is a wonderful movie from many years ago named Like water for chocolate. I remember a scene where they were making a beautiful dish with rose petals. Check it out sometime. Your kids wouldn’t be interested 😂
I asked the question about keeping squirrels away from tulips. Thank you to everyone that's answered this question, I truly appreciate all the advice! I think I'll start with the Irish spring soap idea as I live in Washington state (8b) and of course it rains a bit especially during tulip season! The neighborhood feeds the squirrels peanuts and such, so these guys are really just being greedy lol Thanks again! I'll try another season before giving up!
I agree with you about flowers not tasting great, the only ones I can think of are borage flowers. They taste like cucumber😄
Do you deal with Creeping Charlie? If so how?
Love the banters and the chemistry between you too.
Epimediums are ADDICTIVE! There are so many varieties that look so unique and cool. I have 4 different varieties, sadly they spread very slowly in my garden, I started with 3.5" containers.
I wonder if you will ever plant Asarum? We have Asarum Europeaum here in Europe, it's the cutest little chubby roundy ground cover plant. Think you have some native over there too. Since you said you want to up your ground cover game thought I'd mention it. 🙂
I googled it…all varieties of roses are edible…who knew
Happy Birthday🎀…like Monica's bucket 🌺 arrangement idea 🎂
🍅 small tomatoes on a vine coming soon 🌱
Are you going to pay for the Jeopardy song?😮😂
Laura and Aaron should produce relaxation videos with a music score that features sped-up mulching, flower bed clean-up, lawn mowing, etc. – all of those laborious chores done in a quick minute. Don't know why that is so gratifying – but it is! haha. 😊
For roses black spot – bio advanced (used to be bayer) 3 in 1 ( not 2 in 1) concentrate ( not premixed) works great for most rose problems – love this product!
I got a floabubia purple rose bush tree and never new rode trees were a thing so any advice
English daisies like cool weather and are not drought tolerant. They are not something that thrives in the midwest that's for sure. Epimedium however, I can grow even though we have very hard water and limey soil. I do nothing to acidify the soil.
A young Valerie Bertinelli comes to my mind when I first saw Laura. Laura is a lovely lady inside and out. 🌺☀️🌸
For squirrels – I would try plantskydd or red pepper flakes if they are eating them if they are digging them up make sure you are planting deep enough. I use red pepper flakes around my pumpkins on porch in fall and it helps stop them from eating them. I also first spray pumpkins with bleach water.
all rose petals are edible
I agree with Ken. Jennifer Aniston and Laura do have similar faces. It was really noticeable with the split screen of both of them.
Creating YouTube content every day is a full-time job, that can pay a lot of money every month. Yet, in the process of doing the garden work, they produce a tremendous amount of garbage going to the landfill. Not to mention consistently not following the nursery guidelines for planting flowers and shrubs. Therefore in my opinion the negative cancels out the positive. 😕
Pugster can self seed?? Not a problem where I’m at, I’m just happy to know!
