I use trailing torenias every year in my containers. They can take full, all-day sun without any problem! I live in Florida. The label says shade though.😊. Wish I could share a photo.

100% agree about using high quality potting soil. I was using the big name brand potting soil plus their fertilizer and my annuals would struggle so hard at the height of summer and stop blooming. One of my local garden center’s started carrying espoma last year and that’s what I’m getting from now own. And I’ve switched to Jack’s blossom booster. Huge improvement.

I have been growing begonias for decades. Convinced that is about the worst placement ever.
