  1. Yes Ivan, I remember you sowing little gem lettuces last year, in fact, I bought some of those containers and copied you. Great reminder. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Little Gem is a great little lettuce. I have got some in the full ground at the moment but think I'm going to act on your tip and grow some more in a container. What would you say is the minimum depth a container should have for them?

  3. What a great money saving idea. l v just ordered a bargain pack of little gem seeds for 99p..4,500 seeds , that last for yrs, for the price of one gem from supermarket,!!
You have shown how easy they are to grow even in a small space 🙂 iv learnt they are fast growing so can be succession sown from March to July. l do hope more will see your You Tube channel and get to see how useful your video's are on growing food ,even in small spaces , as well as saving £££'s. Not everyone needs an allotment to be able to grow food, and with food prices soaring, now the time for us all to learn. Keep the video's coming Ivan 🙂

  4. Bought some, direct sowed a few and harvesting leaves from two.
I will be growing on one Little Gem in a stand up high and another below it. Just having fun, Ivan.

  5. Hey Ivan I just wanted to know I’ve been growing my spring onions and they haven’t grown yet but there is a little white power looking thing creating on my bed but it looks like mold is that a sign or nothing

  6. Any idea if there is going to be a frost tonight Ivan? Last time you said there was going to be one, the site I went on to told me that in my area (which is around 20 miles from you), there wasn't going to be one so I did nothing – low and behold! There was a frost and my second earlies got hit bad. So now I am going to take notice of you when you forecast one. It's been a lovely day here today so am wondering if temperatures will dip tonight?

  7. I’ve just done the same 😃! Put some lettuce in a tray and little gem in raised bed in back garden 👍🏻 thanks for the video Ivan 😊

  8. So glad I found your channel. I'm new to growing my own fruit and veg this year. Your videos are so full of practical tips and advise. Than you.

  9. I need to respect lettuce more, i always start the seedlings but then concentrate on the big guns – toms, peppers, potatoes etc and dont bother with the lettuce 😒

  10. Thanks Ivan, for this great update on this lovely harvest. Have a great weekend. Take care and all the best. Stevie
