I never heard of getting cancer out of drinking from a garden hose. Did I hear you correctly? If that is the case, I would have been dead when I was ten. Never mind, I would have been gone by fifteen from swimming in the calvert out of the ditches when we were kids….lol But you are right, you have to do what you gotta do. Hope your day is a good one!!

You just reminded me to take some of the carrot top pesto I made last year out of the freezer. Oh and to sow some carrot seeds ☺️☺️.
I never thought to use carrots to loosen up soil, but then I don't have great luck growing carrots. I did use a cover crop last year that had daikon radish in it and it worked like a charm! Will definitely be using that again next winter. Maybe I'll sprinkle in some carrots to see how that goes.
