  1. Praying for some of your rain in Kansas City. Looking great Linda. "First year they sleep" is a hard one to endure.

  2. Linda! Everything is looking Lindafied! I was recently gifted a Chinese Snowball Viburnum, it was so overgrown and neglected. I planted it in a very prominent spot and trimmed away all the excess and voila! I feel as though you are part of my garden now. I also grabbed some old red bricks from the demolition of the pharmacy where I was employed for 20 years. I have also just created three boxwood topiaries and they look great. Thank you Linda for reinvigorating my passion for gardening. Stuart, thank you for such considerate footage.

  3. Have you considered having lawn done professionally? Prepping area properly and hydro seeding or sod. It may be an investment but struggling with crabgrass and other deep rooted weeds is a tough road. But, the ole college try is an option. If anyone is patient, it's you.

  4. Do you have a plant list of what you have used? So many it’s hard to keep up. I’m loving the different textures and different leaf color. Who says you have to have blooms?

  5. Thx so much for the setting stone idea. It adds order & a resting place for the eyes @ the front of the terrace & the stairway for the pots of pansies. Brilliant. cgzone8

  6. Hi Linda! This has nothing whatsoever to do with plants, but I wanted to ask you if you wear a foundation on your face and, if so, what brand is it? Your complexion always looks so flawless! Your front landscape is really taking shape beautifully and I can’t wait to see it six months from now. Thanks in advance for your feedback on foundation.

  7. We finally have gotten rain here in central Florida. We needed it so badly! So glad you got rain also.

  8. Did you get your kitchen table yet? Also will you be moving to the side yard or back yard next.😊

  9. There’s nothing quite as nice as a good penetrating rain in spring to get things off to a good start. Glad to hear you’re going to be putting some brick landing spaces to step on in front as well as the cement squares. It will tie in with the patio. Are you going to incorporate some with the flagstones in Lemon Lane as well to tie into the patio and sidewalk border? 💖😊🦋🕊

  10. When I lived in Texas, I discovered how precious rain is for a garden. Postponing Wednesday Walkout till Thursday because of rain makes sense. I’m just surprised you didn’t have a Rain Dance party.

  11. The window box looks fantastic. I don’t like everything perfect and all in a row. The flow of nature as a part of the beautiful design makes it such a more modern looking design that is calming and natural. I’m not sure I explained myself very well, but I like cottage style which isn’t so perfectly neat and tidy Good work!

  12. I enjoy so much how you and Stewart feed off one another. You educate me in the landscape world, encourage me to try different things, and bring so much joy and laughter.

  13. Oh boy that boarder pic on the left is what I have used for my largest flower bed in my backyard…..Salvia Caradonna is my favorite 😍

  14. I have something I want to share! I was so disappointed when I couldn't find Hapi-Gro landscape mix here north of Houston!! I was in Lowe's getting soil for a backyard bed I am redoing. A nice lady named Rosie who worked there asked me what I was doing with the soil she was helping me load. I told her and she said, no, no, no!! She showed me what she loves and shared that her yard has been yard of the month several times. It is Living Earth organic compost !! I believe it looks a lot like Linda's landscape mix. Rosie doesn't add mulch because it looks so good in the bed. I love the darker color and am just so very happy. I couldn't wait to share this!! The garden is going to be gorgeous, Linda. And the window box. So glad you got rain! We did too the night before last and the new soil stayed right in place and didn't run off. Happy, happy!!

  15. I know that everybody’s so positive but I was looking all over for you tulips this year and I don’t see them anymore. What happened? You don’t even know how much I miss your tulips. I got into planting tulips for spring every year just because of you inspired me. You had the most beautiful, gorgeous, stunning tulip garden. Are you planning to do that again or not? Blessings to you while you continue recovering. Thank you for everything that you have taught all of us throughout the years. Have a nice evening bye-bye

  16. I see why your so proud it is coming together so nicely, that was a big undertaking and you still have the backyard to do

  17. Just my two cents, but I think pinks, lavender or purples would look nice instead of the yellow in the pots. Again just my opinion!
