So glad you said that about the yarrow and the fertilizer as I am about to add that to my flower bed. Have you ever done a video where you list the plants you don't use Bio-tone, etc. on? You saved me with the sedum but I would not have known about the yarrow if I didn't watch this. Thanks!
The delphinium plants I planted in spring and which bloomed last year have not come off the ground this year yet. Zone 6b
Can you do a video focusing on potted plants for high heat areas? I’m in eastern wa and I am looking for something to put in pots in front of my garage but it gets after noon full Sun. I’m lost!
I always giggle a bit when you talk about yarrow , they are weeds where I grew up in Alaska … I mean as any little kid I would pick the wild roses and wild geranium Monks hood etc. but even little it was the yarrow we would pull as weeds 😂 I love that. Depending on location what is a weed somewhere is the star of the garden somewhere else 🤩
It's fun that here in Finland 🇫🇮 yarrow is a weed almost everybody hates (we got white and pink) and just cant get rid of. But some make tea or ointments from them, so we got that going.
Such pretty much wow 💚💚💚
Love the music
So glad it is warming up for you. All the plants are beautiful and I can't wait to see more.
Looks like everything's coming up roses…..well so to speak!
Who drove across the grass? Aaron's pride and joy. Oooooooh! 😂
A lady Banks rose would be beautiful on your arbors!!
If you like those tulips, you'd probably like the David Austin rose Wollerton Old Hall. It bleaches out to white, but its GORGEOUS with its soft orange.
Is that you playing the piano music? So relaxing.
It's been an odd year in the Southeast too. We're still getting nights in the 40's in Georgia, next week, in May!!! It's nuts.🌡🥶
That Benjamin he’s a hoot 😂
Love the. Cats pjs
OMG….I want that auger..I have a 14 in by 3inch diameter…yours is really a good one…I can see this in my future😅
Learned so many things from watching your channel. You make my days! Love all your gardens and as you expand, it will be even more beautiful!
So many wonderful ideas for planting
colour at long last!
Oh the placement on the yarrow is perfect along side those tulips! I'm looking forward to whatever purple will be there
So exciting yo see your yard wake up!
i so want my own home on an acre with my Own fenced yard front&back yards
I’m so happy to see the flowers coming❤ can’t wait for the fruits and everything is in it’s my happy place.. besides the garden center.
That would be an interesting video – showing all of the perennials and annuals arriving !! 😊
Beautiful spring.
Can Lady’s Mantle handle sun?
💜💜
I love your videos even though we are in zone 9 but a lot of stuff grows here too!
To save money and get more plants, germinate the seeds of these sun-loving perennials inside. Fertilize the seedlings and plants with a water-soluble fish emulsion once per week. No need to break the bank to achieve the same results as Garden Answer. Reduce the waste and purchase products sold in containers and bags that can be recycled. 🙂🐞♻
I never get tired of seeing you work out your spacing and your levels as you design your beds.
Hi Laura. Yesterday I turned 57. I wanted to share with you the gifts you and Aaron have given me over the last year. I started gardening last March and was failing miserably (Phoenix 9B), planting things at the wrong time, in the wrong light, etc. – every rookie gardener mistake. Your channel kept being suggested to me and I started watching. Seeing you break up tasks (the weekly zone map tasks), seed starting, and even doing what I would have thought previously as mundane tasks like weeding – has boosted how much I get accomplished and in turn, my enthusiasm (see one, do one). Each day the yard looks healthier and prettier. The Hubs and I find ourselves 'walking the estate' at the end of the day to see what's grown since he saw it the night before, then sitting in the rockers just relaxing when previously we rarely spent any time out back (we have a little over a 1/4 acre and have lived here over a decade). I'm healthier than I've been in years from all the stretching and bending and am getting 'farm girl feet' tan : ) Thank you both for the gifts you have bestowed upon me by sharing what you know and always encouraging new gardeners like me that there's more than one way to do things, it's ok to make mistakes, and to just keep trying. Love to all from 100 degree Phoenix – yep my tomatoes are already scorching.
❤❤❤
Is that a new arbor over the new path? I must’ve missed an episode 😮
It is so satisfying to see the changes happening in the garden. So lovely. The music was relaxing . Benjamin filming behind you was precious 🥰❤️
I need to find some Yarrow and Salvia!! It all looks so pretty!!!
8:20 Uh oh! I fertilized my yarrow yesterday! <facepalm> <fingers crossed>
I truly appreciate seeing the parts of your garden that are not complete yet so I can see that it's totally normal to have patches of dirt with sparse plants in them. I am working on a small budget so it is taking me years to get my garden where I want it to be. I probably have another couple of years until my plants fill in the spaces and it can be so hard to stay patient
Hi 👋 Laura ❤
