Bonjour à tous, its back to work in the walled garden and fixing new problems. Tracy gets to work on rebuilding the top of the lower wall that had been damaged due to unwarranted trees ready to place the capping stones on, Terry deals with a section of the upper wall that had collapsed, rebuilding it back up stone by stone. Both these beautiful walls once welcomed the chateaux guests, approaching the original entrance by each level. Ash gets to work on tackling all the grass at the château with a new toy.

About us,

We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.

The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.

Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Please subscribe and follow our families journey, with the up’s and down’s in moving from the UK to rural France and restoring this beautiful building to its former glory.

  1. Another episode of amazing work by Tracy and Terry. I have such small jobs to worry about and then I look at you and it looks daunting. But you just continue and move along and get the jobs done! And I've never said this before, but the promotional segment for the Ecoflow Blade robotic lawn mower was extremely interesting and very well shot and presented. I am really tempted to get one for my two lawns. I love that it can sense small animals to create some safety. And I may have to look into that air conditioner as well.

  2. Brill man, Terry….nice job. It looks supa great…. Maybe the contents of the glass on the wall behindbyou helped a little tum ti tum… Whaaaattteeeever! 😂 ALEX XX

  3. who i have to rub on his legs to get an ecoflow lawn mower 😂i got a lot of grass to mow 😉 garden wall looking good 😌 Grts Yves x

  4. Have been asking where Tony is. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know. We miss seeing him.

  5. Love the perfect first robotics sweeping mower , yep a tonge twister, just what a chateau needs of course. You are all amazing and got your own tagged mower, love it. Love to you all. Xxxx

  6. Woo hoo Ash has a new toy! How cool is it to have a lawn mower that cuts the grass all by itself. I wonder if this machine has enough capacity for a larger lawn? A shout out to Terry and Tracy for their wall building skills. Your repairs look so professional and perfect. All the best to your wonderful family. What is the bright yellow crop growing in the fields around the chateau? I can't imagine what plant is so bright at this time of the year. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to a "visit" with all of you twice a week.
