Bryan, Be careful tugging on vines and branches. You are going to blow your rotator cuff. Please work smarter, not harder. 🙂 Also, fire is your friend. Use it on the farm. Save yourself from loading your truck. Burn it! But be careful. And, wood ash is a valuable fertilizer. As a fellow derelict property rehabber, take your time. Reward yourself for your work. It took years for it to become derelict. It will take years to get it under control. Enjoy!

Love your videos!! You answered a question of mine also. I fertilized some things yesterday before the rains coming in today and quickly ran out of my plant, holly and rose tones. I can tell you are using less than the amount they recommend and it's still effective. I'm happy I can cut back a little before I go broke! Lol

Interesting names for the lilies. "Every knee shall bow", comes from the Bible. Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name , so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
We have problem with deer also. I sprinkle Milorganite fertilizer all around daylilies and hostas , seems to keep the deer out of the yard. They do not like the smell. You have a lot of work ahead of you. Love your gardens!

Forgot to add that I can't wait to see if my Daylily crosses and the ones I bought from you come up. I planted them in my winter sowing. Some Daylilies coming up in my garden beds but they are in their 2nd or 3rd season. So far only Poppies coming up in my winter sowing. And not all of those! Oddly enough the Blue Himalayan Poppies are doing the best. I was surprised as I thought they were hard to germinate. Anyway, I love hearing about your Daylilies. You were my inspiration and teacher that got me to try crossing them last year. So much fun!!
