  1. look into foxtial lillies for your bed with the boxus shrubs. you could put them behind to have a feature going upwards.

  2. Hi Emma. Have you tried standing each of the legs of your small greenhouse in a tray of water. I know that slugs like damp, but they don't like water. You'll have to make sure that the green house is clear of slugs before you do it; otherwise, they'll just happily live in there.

  3. Emma you have a nice garden, love the tulips and fruit trees. Please try and be a bit more gentle when handling your plants.

  4. With your cosmos seedlings going leggy you can just repot them. I saw a tip where you replant them deeper? All my cosmos shot up and went leggy so I did that and they seem to be growing ok now.

  5. your box plants look healthy at the moment it's normal for their new growth to be lighter coloured, I dread the box moth caterpillars coming here not seen them yet

  6. Loved the vlog Emma forget-me-nots look fab I'm struggling with my flowers at the mo, I've got well into climbing flowers just bought a star of jasmine omg it smells amazing 🥰

  7. I've watched your channel from the start. And I think you're brilliant! You have inspired me to not worry about my failures, but to keep going. Both your plot and your home garden look wonderful. Please keep us inspired. And thank you very much.

  8. Slice up an orange or two and place them all about in your little greenhouse. This stops slugs and snails. I was having a real problem with them stopped very quickly.

  9. Love your videos Emma. I was told when potting on, to be careful not to handle the actual stem of the wee seedling as it damages the plant. Hold the seedling by the wee leaves. Good luck with the sunflowers- a fav of mine so will be watching your progress with these. I am down in NZ so am autumn seed sowing just now for our coming winter.🌻

  10. I am having the exact same problem with my sunflowers atm even though they were in my conservatory! So I did the same, and put them in my little greenhouse outside, like yours but wooden… I looked the next day and they had completely wilted and died 😭 my partner left some in a little pot as ‘an experiment’ outside… and they seem to be doing better. Might have to bring them in, repot, and find a better windowsill 😂 fingers crossed us 🤞🏻🌻

  11. Hiya Emma Thankyou for sharing your backyard looks lovely. Blessings luv Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝

  12. Your plot and garden are fantastic. Blooming slugs they are a menace, what purpose do they serve none. Love your videos 😊

  13. Hi Emma. I have planted out my Sweet Corn. Yea. They are growing away.
May I ask which mower you have. Looks perfect for me

  14. Hi Emma. Lovely garden ❤. Just a thought regarding slugs in your greenhouse. If you place a tray on the shelf with some water in it. Add a small brick to the center of the tray, or 2 bricks to aid balance. Put your seedling pots on the bricks. The slugs won't cross the water to get to the bricks ,so can't get your seedlings x

  15. Emma, like you I have struggled to get little seedlings from their pots to move them into bigger pots. I have found a way around this which might help you. Instead of using a tiny spatula, use the small wooden fork you can find in most super markets meal deal sections 😅 I have got plenty from there and now even have started to put the plant names on them. And when ready pot on, I use the fork to loosen the soil, hold the leaves and smoothly pull it out 😊 good luck

  16. You do need to get some support on your fruit trees ,if they ever do have fruit they will bend over and maybe break , something a bit stronger than garden canes .

  17. Emma, if you could rig up a white board or a foil board behind them, It would reflect the light coming in the window from the back. Maybe use a cardboard box ? Cut off the side that sits against the window, and line the other sides with foil or white paper? like a light box

  18. Hi Emma love your videos just thinking about the slugs 🐌 can you put a layer of your structh don’t think I’ve spelt it right 🤣🤣 on the bottom of your greenhouse ? 🤷‍♀️ Just saying ! Your garden is lovely lv Irene 😘 xx

  19. It looks lovely. The tulips and forget me nots, the fruittrees, the herbs, the new veg-container. I’m harvesting spinach like crazy and my aquilegia is starting to bloom. Love aquilegia as much as myosotis! And your love of tulips is slightly rubbing off on me too…

  20. Informative and interesting video I have liked and subscribed to show support for your channel….loved the video hugs from Scotland ❤🤗

  21. My garden is about the same size, in south West London. Used strulch around my helenium and echinacea last summer, and they are actually growing back this year
I love your videos, they are so relaxing

  22. My hats off to you and your efforts
We left London 4 years ago now for a quiet life in the midlands, just south of Birmingham. Best thing we could have done for our family as we are loving the quiet in our small garden. We grow tons of vegetables each year and we have been DIYing bit by bit to save money 💰💰💰

Glad I found your channel ❤
