I’ll probably catch some well-deserved flack about which channels I chose to include and exclude on the list, but definitely feel free to add your own recommendations to the comments to that other viewers can benefit from your picks.

  2. Haha… Charles dowding lives down the road from me I wish he wouldn't wear Jesus sandals on his Vids 😂

  3. Definitely will be checking out all your mentions on this list. I will look up the podcast you mentioned as well. I garden in southern Manitoba and am itching to get into the garden! I would love to see you review Canadian products that are available to us. Seed starting mixes, potting soils, organic fertilizers etc…

  4. I enjoy your channel but I also enjoy Tracy’s Home and Garden. She gardens in the same zone as me, here in Ontario

  5. Prairie plant girl is my pick. She does lots of cool stuff but is probably not as well known.

  6. Hi

I likes permaculture with “Canadian Permaculture Legacy ” , It my dream that one day I leave Ottawa and have same type of leaving as his.
Also I like to watch “You can’t eat grass” Very nice BC couple with nice way of presenting flowers

  7. I like Canadian permaculture legacy, Soil scientist Ashley and your channel for improving my gardening hobby. But mostly, I'm into Geopolitics like Geopolitical Economy Report and Redacted to mention a couple. All great stuff! Thanks Jason for sharing your picks, for sure I'll be checking out a few of the channels you mentioned. 🐝🐞

  8. Ontario here! Thanks for the list- although I am not going on face book to enter the contest- I still want to share my favourite Canadian youtubers, who happen to own a 2 acre farm in Kelowna BC is: "You Cant Eat The Grass" they are hilarious!

  9. Oh, cool, we have to engage with facebook in order to deal with this. [expletives redacted by original commenter] Here's my fave CANCON on Youtube anyhow : Chill Goblin

  10. I love you videos! Have you ever thought about doing live or a question answer question? I would love it… I'm kind of newbie and have about 30 roses, have a tone of questions!

  11. Thanks for the recommendations, will have to check them out! I enjoy watching University of Guelph Honey bee research centre on youtube

  12. Hi Jason!!! do you have any suggestion on fighting against Arge pagana? They can eat a plant in a snap!

  13. Nice! Great to see channels supporting each other. And now the Ripe Tomato guy has reminded me to get out in the Vancouver rain to fertilize our garlic… 😀

  14. I love your channel the most because I don’t grow a lot of veggies or fruit. I am a rose fanatic and you are the best! I would love a pair of boots 😊

  15. Fraser Valley is definitely the most informative channel and has the largest breadth of topics. Content is interesting and delivered in a easy to understand way. I enjoy the pov of a nurseryman who is passionate about plants.

  16. Thanks for this list – I’m always trying to find good Canadian content. I’ve been a subscriber of Gardening in Canada for a while, it can be hard to find good gardening content on YouTube for those of us in a harsher Prairie environment!

  17. Hi All. This a great list and the comments are so good. It is wonderful to finally find common ground with so many. I have many favourite youtubers in permaculture but I wanted to branch out a little, she is in Ontario and is a shepherdess, as well as her husband and her have a grain farm of a kind. Sandi Brock of Sheepishly Me. She puts it all out there. The Christmas Vlogmas when new lambs are being born is a wonderful treat. There are so many more but she is one of my favourites in Canada. There is also Garden Answer in Ontario Oregon, very good. And Pete of GreenDreamsTV in Florida, well worth the watch. I don't need to have the boots, I just wanted to share the great farming and gardening information. I have been trying to commit and transition to a career in farming, gardening and permaculture, but you know, road blocks, in the meantime, I consume knowledge and support youtubers.

  18. An election model would be being in BC ans beginning to listen to a podcast only to find out the harvest has already been completed. 😀
