A peaceful morning! You might be a coastal girl at heart, Laura. You would enjoy Humboldt County because our weather is frequently between 50° and the high 60s. Our average rainfall is 38 inches, but it's lush, green, and beautiful.
I wish I could grow plants that love hot weather. I would melt, though. 😅
Hi, I missed which variety of honeysuckle you were training. Have a great day.
Something so aesthetically pleasing about Laura going back to planting with shovel ASMR vs the auger 😭
The garden hobby looks more like a job.
Legend of a fall.. a brad pitt's movie. wow 😊😜😬
Absolutely beautiful
So pretty
I just Love hearing all the birds ❤ they are so happy in your garden 🐦
Awesome video, love to see you getting to start planting outside. I love the little English. Daisy's.
Love Russell!
Baby bump is growing bigger
Hi Laura 🌺well done . Wonderful plants they will be amazing in the gaeden . Have anice day 🌻🌺🌻
Thank you so much! I'd forgotten about Viburnum. I kept thinking, "I know I want that plant that starts with a 'V'." Then my brain would skip and repeat: 'Violets'. Yeah? Nope! I went to the local flower shop and purchased every African Violet they had (6), along with a couple miniature phalaenopsis orchids, just because they were being ignored. I felt so sorry for them but just 7 days later, they are loving their new home. I hope cultivators will stop using that ugly and cruel coco-matting to grow orchids. I can't leave the orchid in it because it will die. WARNING: No matter what you are told, coco-matting will not prevent weeds from popping up, Will hold a ton of moisture – which the plants need – is super difficult to dig through (we lost 2 pairs of kitchen scissors and 3 steak knives. I've had the cut-out pieces in my composer for two years now and they show no sign of composing. I turn my compose every couple of weeks. So I've begun pulling the coco-matting out and have returned to pulling weeds that crop through it. Which is really difficult at 73 years old. Underneath these mattings is the same spent soil that began this process of expensive disappointment. No matter what you read or hear, go with the cardboard method. I did that in Texas and here in France. The cardboard method works well. While I would not plant any plant for a few years after employing cardboard or shipping paper, I have found that it is far more compatible than the Freaking Coco Matting. I'm not a real gardener. I only know what I have read and then found through tried and true methods works well. I now believe that placing a coco mat in any place is not only extremely expensive but also equivalent to volunteering for 10-20 years of torment in gardening purgatory while you, the thoughtful gardener, spend all spring and summer deep into fall pulling every thankful weed. Chickens are better and less torment.
I thought about the thorny rose garden. Your little ones are the perfect height to be really be hurt by it. Little eyes. So I prayed may it never be.
There is a company that sells all kinds of topiary forms, it would be super cute to have a bunny , cats or dogs out in the landscape. Really hope you check it out.
I absolutely LOVE that front fountain. Gorgeous ❤
Hi Laura and Aaron. Love love love your channel. Just wanted to add one suggestion- but maybe a lot of work for Ken.. I was wondering if you could pop a picture on the screen of the plant in your space when you are pointing out when it is in full bloom. I think it would give it a nice visual. Regards from Shillong, India
Russell is feeling a little EXTRA today. 😂
Curious Laura. Have you ended up using the Harley for entertaining and dining purposes as much as you intended? Or was that a “romancing the ordinary” aspiration taken a bit too far? It is indeed a beautiful spot.
Hey Laura it could be fun to se if you had a supertunia as a house plant in the Hartley or just in the house of course where it can get its space but great video love it❤❤
if you use the heater in your ac unit, for your home, maybe the hellebores stay colder than normal because the ac unit is pushing cold air?
Will check ur video out later / Bery busy at Frog Hollow Farm 🇺🇸
Good afternoon Laura and family and 🐈

Please help!! Potting Mix vs Potting Soil!!! I’ve been told there is NO soil in potting mix. So what’s the difference between the two? And what are their uses? Which to use in pots? Which in hanging baskets? In the ground?
I don’t understand what to use?

Anybody else notice Paul in the background during the Hartley segment in a T shirt . Clearly he thinks spring has sprung 😂.
