Once you’ve sown your tomato seeds and have little seedlings you are going to need to move them onto bigger pots or modules. Don’t worry though it’s super simple and easy, even if you have multiple plants growing in the same cell or pot. So let Gardener Scott and I take you through it as we transplant our little tomato seedlings to bigger pots.

Such a shame damping off got hold of you, but plenty of time to get more in the tray. great collab and I enjoyed it on Scotts channel too
Love this collaboration between you two. ❤❤❤❤
Love these collaborations! Looking forward to seeing your hard efforts grow! X
Love the vid! ❤
Sooo wish it would warm up, but not 90s like last week. Holy heck it was hot! So Mother Nature heard my complaint and last Monday gave us 6” of snow—Hoo rah😏. It has since turned rainy and cold. Over a 50 degree change is tuff. Our normal lows were exceeding normal highs last week. We should be about 60 F, but we are getting March weather now.
We have alarm temps going off all the time for the new chicks and greenhouse—it’s a riot😳🤯🤪🤣
I’m happy I at least held back on starting tomatoes and peppers too soon because as I was looking today I was having a reality check of how much space they will need when I pot them up.😮
Fabulous video as always … my Tomato plants are looking abit sorry for themselves … they do have their 2nd leaves … maybe I should bite the bullet & re-pot them & fingers crossed they pick up ….
If they die ….is it too late to plant more ?
On a positive note my 2nd lot ( 1st lot died ) of peppers look very healthy 😊😊😊🌻🌻🌻🌻🌷🌷🌷
Really enjoyed this collaboration. And learned things too. Thanks both!
Another fab video, love you and Scott together
Hi Eli, you can now get Quadgrows again (along with some of the other lines from previous supplier), a company called Two Wests & Elliot are supplying, I have a set arriving today, fingers crossed.
Hi Eli, I've potted my tomato plants on once. They look ok! My disaster was the Petunias I sowed on the same day as you. A lot of damping off……but I'm sowing more today so I hope it doesn't happen again.
Just what I needed! Thanks Eli and Scott. Potted on my choumoellier kale seedlings and most did not survive. I did not wait for the true leaves, that is obviously why. So I thought OK, I will just sow some seeds into the little pot s and see what happens. They are outside (I live in South Africa) and I have new seedlings growing. The only thing I will have to do is separate the seedlings when I plant out into my big planter boxes.
Absolutely loved this! I'm sitting here trying to figure out where to get a tongue depressor! The humour between you two is refreshing, what a breath of fresh air. ❤ I see you've gone beyond guest-relationship, especially now you've put that poor man to work in the kitchen 😂 Absolutely ace! (More like this, please!)
Omg! This video was amazing!! Two of my favorites in 1 video!!! Glad I made a cup of tea before I sat down with this one, no hot cross bun though!💖
None of my tomatoes have germinated at all. I planted 5 varieties (4 seeds of each) on the March full moon. I think it has just been too cold still with me.
Loving the collab with Scott, Eli. Well done!
So fantastic to see you and gardener Scott do a video together! I loved it! I’m not bragging, but here in Florida, I am already enjoying my large harvest of tomatoes! I also had a very large harvest of snow peas already. We start early here in Florida. Keep up the great work! Love your videos!
I love you and Scott's collaborations. Very entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work! 🥰👍
I am making my own quadgrows as I wanted more and found that they weren't selling them anymore ….except they will be duo grows… I am using low long black wham boxes and I managed to get hold of the quad grow square pots from another garden company …I also have capillary matting…..all I have to do is drill holes into the box below and another hole to fill it up which will be plugged with a bung …so excited about making them this weekend 😊…oh and I yes small usb fan on my seedlings to give them good ventilation and it works well!!
Thankyou for this video, some informative. 😊💕
Brilliant
Love these duets.
Greetings,
Fun video…😉 What is the brand name of your tidy tray with the orange accessory shelf? Have you tried sprinkling cinnamon on the top of your new seedlings? To ward off dampening off.
Cheers,
Rachel

Hi.Eli & Scot, great video thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Hmmm, I've lost a couple of tomato plants to heat stress (Florida). So, instead of cutting off and composting my volunteers (some of which are rather large, 18+ inches and flowering), I guess they get to rotate into production. Not the recommended succession planting, but….No failures, just different opportunities, right? Love that planter tea cup!
I have many tomato seedlings some that have skyrocketed and others that have grown spindly and not all. Is this something to expect and if so, how many should I bring up for a raised bed of 5ft*2ft*12inches?
Eli, do you keep your tomato seedlings in your Greenhouse just now, and if so, is it heated?
Eli and Kate with gardener Scott, what a great day to start this rainy day here in cold Norway(3 celsius).
And what a great way to separate the seedlings, watch YouTube and learn something new every day.
But I have to do some bragging, because I have 3 tomatoes already blooming.
It's 2 cuttings from last fall and their Tiny Tim mother plant.
All three have been overwintering in the windowsill without any use of grow lights.
I think I'm gonna have some really early tomatoes this year ❤
Overwintering seems to be a real game changer for cold climate gardening 😎
Thanks for this collab. Lost most of my tomato seedlings a few weeks ago. Too much water! Resown, more than previously, and are looking good. Was a bit worried I'm now behind, but you've both made me feel much better about things. Thanks again. 👍
