  1. Wonderful to see your appreciation of growing your own food! And also a timely reminder that even here in the South East we are in for a cold night (AGAIN!) on Tuesday and the newer ‘baby’ plants need a little looking after 👍

  2. I notice you have your strawberry plants outside , have just purchased some s plants from garden centre , potted them into tubs but have left them in greenhouse as they have flowers on them and thought the frost due in next couple of days might hurt them , what is your opinion, advice please as a novice gardener ☺️

  3. Another great update Ivan, i'm sowing my dwarf green beans today (tendercrop). Thanks for the weather warning, for Tuesday and thanks for sharing.

  4. Ivan i saw that squirrel that nicked my best courgette last year it stopped and looked at me, It went past me looked at me then Disappeared for 20 mins then came back looked at me again then ran off up garden, Have a guess what i what i was thinking.

  5. Question…Why is it when a gardener sees a potato starting to chit they immediately start looking for dirt? I've got one in a bag on my counter that I pulled out to cook, saw the chits, and put it back to plant. But since I starting this gardening thing, I find myself asking if it will grow about every veggie I buy.

  6. My rhubarb that i only just put out yesterday looks like something from the dinosaur times, My old one died after 20 years.

  7. Hi Ivan I’ve got 3 broad beans in a recycling container with 6 potatoes, both are doing great. I need to top my beans soon.👍🏻🤠
