Thank you Laura for talking above carrots. I forgot to put away one of my grocery bags full of frozen vegetables. I loved how every year you do almost the same thing for spring it reminds me to get my butt in gear and not wait until I have missed a whole planting season. Get that tooth taken care of. Aaron add more water to your arbs.
Yes to cardboard. Have used it now for three years to both take out grass and cover open, weed prone areas of my garden. As my plants have matured, the weeds have become less of a problem for sure. But, we have space all around our house between the foundation and plants. I just lay down cardboard, cover with mulch and no weeds, and no picking or spraying. Looks neat as a pin. The mulch should be put on pretty thickly to keep the cardboard covered completely and for a long time.
👋👋Good Sunday morning, Laura and Aaron!!! I am a faithful subscriber, not a fair weather subscriberr, " through thick and thin"!!! What???? 😱You're not going to film the next progression of Monica and Nicks' backyard! BUMMER!!!!😭😭😭😭 I sure enjoy the Highlights videos, they refresh my memory of the weeks' progress and beauty! Thank you for always doing the Recaps!!! Have a Blessed and Beautiful day/night/week 🌞/🌜✨️⭐️⭐️✨️ 🌐 everyone!!! Kimberley F in the Arizona desert 🌞🌵💞🏜😎 (Zone 9b) USA 🇺🇸
I have been following you for years and never never ever get sick of seeing the veggie garden put together each year, it’s my favourite thing ❤️ I also love when you plant and prune the chicken garden. Can’t wait to see the progress in that new/old space where the circle of Aliums survived this season.
I always planted my broccoli early and I harvested and froze a lot for my family but when the worms stared I pulled them out and we planted something else. Love your videos. Thanks.😊
Please do an update on the skinny fit ginkgo from proven winners. Is it thriving in your garden? All this time later it is hard to find anywhere in California. Do you have any news about the release date on this tree?
You mentioned keeping the Nectarine tree watered in the pot through the Winter. Won't the clay pot you put the nectarine tree in crack in the Winter from freeze/thaw cycles? Here in Michigan (zone 6) our clay pots split and crack if left with soil in them and especially if you water them in the Winter.
Aaron should look at a gimbal harness that you wear to support the weight of the camera rig. 🤔 Thanks for answering all of these questions! I know it takes a lot of your time, but it is always appreciated. 😊👍
You guys crack me up! 😂 I love the banter between you. I used to view the recap videos more as a podcast, and listen while I worked in the kitchen, but now I find myself wanting to watch the looks you give each other. You're very entertaining!🤗
We have a new tract house with a similar backyard slope as Monica's house. We used retaining wall blocks from the local building supply store to build our retaining wall and spent about three hundred dollars. We can't imagine spending thousands of dollars to build a stack rock retaining wall.

I couldn't believe I heard you ask Benjamin if he was going to go "shank" someone! Much relieved to hear it was shang, and what that meant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Trust me. Nobody leaves.

I need your yearly things you do since I’m in the same climate and zone as you, so when you start doing things I know I need to do them.
Really looking forward to the color blocking/ color transitions in the cut garden this year!
Please keep making crop planting videos, each year is different and always learn something new from you.
Laura didn't you have two yellow cats before?

It is a Rose Garden, Laura's Rose Garden!!
What happend with all the tulip bulbs in the orchard? Did they bloom?
Aaron is right. How long plants stay in bloom is also import when the budget is limited.
Just ordered the bundle. Hopefull for some relief for my back.
💚💜 I like the new profile picture! It may be an older news but I'm just now noticing it!!

I love the garden tours. Love to see the progress and seasonal changes.
Question. I have green house use water bottles to heat. Do you think my dalia's be fine. There little green house?

I think Aaron's idea of the video regarding bloom length is great!
